Fantastic experience: I recently had a fall and had a tear in my meniscus ligament, it was causing excruciating pain and getting worse over time rsther than better so decided to seek done professional physio input. I have had around 8 appointments at ESP with Scott Lang. I have to say he was absolurely excellent. He assessed thoroughly and quickly identified the problem. With a combination of interventions such as the shockwave treatment and using the blade to get deep into the area and surrounding area I feel I have came out the other end hugely improved. He gave me a comprehensive set of exercises to do at home which were bespoke for my needs. I also have rheumatoid arthritis so some exercises were a bit harder due to existing joint problems but Scott took that into consideration and gave me manageable alternatives. I would recommend ESP without hesitation, their customer service, communication were all excellent but the expertise and knowledge that Scott approached my care with was second to none. I felt I was in really good hands and will definitely use the organisation in the future.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment with Gordon at Stirling Rugby Club, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to understand my concerns thoroughly. The hands-on treatment he provided significantly relieved my pain. Additionally, the follow-up was incredibly useful, as he prescribed tailored additions to my training schedule aimed at strengthening my underlying issues. I appreciate his approach and expertise, which made a positive impact on my recovery. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to ESP Physio through healthcare provider with the acute sciatica and muscle spasms and I was seen very quickly. Dr Morgan Balsam was so understanding and patient throughout the sessions, by explaining the causes, giving the tailored exercises and advice how to handle the sore back. In addition I also received the dry needling treatment which in combination of the exercises allowed me to have a full recovery. Would highly recommend Dr Morgan and would absolutely return if I ever would need any further treatments.

Fantastic experience: I took my dad to see Dr Cairn Wallace for hip and lower half tightness. Cairn did not waste any time and went straight into providing very strong, intense but effective treatment that had instant relief. When I first visited him, I was struggling to walk, but he put together a clear four-week rehabilitation plan to get me back to running. Each week, we adjusted the stretches based on his assessment, ensuring a safe and steady progression toward my goal. Yesterday, I completed my final physio session and can now run confidently again. Fantastic experience: A very professional outfit! From the outset I received all the right documentation and questionnaire forms to complete and then I was assigned Cairn. From the very beginning, Cairn explains everything very well and went into detail. He was very thorough with his examination of my shoulder and although the treatment was very intense, it made a huge difference. Cairn is an absolute gentleman too and it was a pleasure chatting to him during the physio sessions. I was also emailed excellent exercises to do in between the physio sessions which helped a lot. Iwould highly recommend ESP to anyone and Cairn as I think he is a great ambassador to the practice.

Fantastic experience: I've attended a few sessions with Scott for a rotator cuff injury and so far have found him to be very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. During my initial consultation Scott done a thorough assessment to diagnose the problem. At the end of each session he takes the time to demonstrate and explain my exercises and follows up by email with a short video too. I've still a few more sessions to complete before I am back to 100% movement & strength, but so far the progress I've made has been great. Would highly recommend ESP Physio. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I went to ESP physiotherapy for a shoulder injury which was preventing me from participating in my usual hobbies (the gym and climbing). Andrew was very personable, knowledgeable, thorough and a good communicator. He took time to assess and diagnose the injury and made sure I understood everything. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic treatment today, from Ash and one of the students today. from start to finish. the pre assessment questions covered all the bases, the practical assessment to diagnose the root cause of my pain and the treatment part helped ease the discomfort i was experiencing. The full process was explained by the student through each stage and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and competent. i also received some exercises to do between now and my next appointment. i asked them to email them to me so i wouldn’t forget. which i found extremely helpful and will ensure i don’t forget anything that was spoken about. Ash also booked me in for a follow up appointment too. very happy with the full experience and highly recommend to anyone who needs physio treatment.

Fantastic experience: After 4 sessions my hip pain had gone. Very hands on treatment. Left with a series of exercises to increase and maintain my hip mobility.

She's done a great job of reducing the pain and increasing my range of movement, which was effecting my quality of life and ability to enjoy my pastimes. Fantastic experience: Special thanks to Morgan for her guidance in treating my shoulder injury. I’d visited a couple of other physios in the past who could not find the root cause of my issue and this had started to cause some frustration for me. During my first session with ESP, Morgan conducted a thorough examination to detect the exact nature of my problem. Each week, she provided a wide variety of exercises and progressions to target the affected and surrounding areas to treat my issue but also prevent further injury in the future. She asked lots of questions to continually check I was comfortable with the treatment plan and to measure my progress. I would highly recommend Morgan to anyone wishing to use ESP Physio.

Fantastic experience: Only had one session with Andrew so far about my knee, lovely guy makes you feel at ease and very knowledgeable, explained a lot about the condition of my knee, as I didn’t understand all the medical jargon that I received after my x ray, took time to explain it all to me and hopefully on track for less pain.

Fantastic experience: I've been a runner for a few years now but have always neglected proper stretching, and as I've been upping my weekly mileage recently I wanted to get some advice on several issues I have had for a while. I've had two sessions with Morgan now and they have been really useful. She has given plenty of specific advice and has explained things clearly, and has given me different exercises I can do at home to help out. Friendly service and really easy to arrange appointments so would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great service. I had Andrew Lin look at my shin splints and check for a possible stress fracture. He was extremely attentive and I really felt like he was listening to me and going into detail to make sure that my issue was solved as thoroughly as possible. He is also a very impressive typist.

After diagnosis she used some intense deep tissue massage as well as other techniques such as cupping therapy. She also equipped me with all the exercises to combat and relieve the pain I was having. If I have any other injuries, Morgan will be my first point of call. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience during my Physio session.. the physiotherapist did ensured to check all pain points and guided me well how I can get recovered. I had severe back pain before I went there such that I couldn't even walk properly or stand straight. Post session and exercise suggested, I am feeling much better just within 3-4 days.. highly recommend the physio center.

Fantastic experience: I’m often skeptical to if physio works but the methodical and logical approach Andrew took to diagnosing my knee injury was absolutely brilliant. Got hit by a shinty stick, ( sorta like getting smacked with a golf club ) so figured the hospital would be best, but though I’d try a physio first. Andrew did a superb job and he’s an asset to ESP and Edinburgh alike.

Positive experience: My first physio appointment wasn't too bad but the process of booking the appointment(s) was terrible. Not straight forward and did not fill me with confidence. When I asked where the physio was located, member of staff on the phone said they didn't know I should look it up on google a bit of customer service and business knowledge required

Fantastic experience: Came for an initial assessment around the middle of April with Andrew Lin (physiotherapist), who managed to identify the cause of a rounded right shoulder and right knee pain. Andrew gave me exercises and stretches to perform, and scheduled check-ups to ensure his solutions were working. Within 9 weeks, both issues have been resolved and I am feeling much less restricted when training, and in day-to-day life. Would highly recommend Andrew, excellent physiotherapist.

Fantastic experience: I have now had two treatments with Andrew Lin (physiotherapist), and I cannot praise him enough. I have had many treatments over the years and have had two lower back ops also. After Andrew assessed me, he went straight to the problem area, which I praise him. He has treated the muscle group in question and so far made it much more comfortable and flexible for me. Yes it is uncomfortable when treated, but so worth it. I would hesitate to recommend Andrew. He knows his stuff.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Jesse at ESP Physiotherapy. I've had an overuse meniscus injury in a knee from running and Jesse was very thorough in his diagnosis and assessment at the first session. The rehab exercises he has given me have been demanding but have made a big difference in a few weeks to the upper leg strength and therefore stability of the knee. Hopefully I can start running quite soon.

Fantastic experience: Attended the Glasgow Physio. Can not thank Jessie enough. He amazing. Pinpointed before even examining me that i had trapped nerves in my neck. My own doctor believed it to be tendonitis. A quick examination confirmed Jessie's diagnosis and treatment followed. His clear precise instruction were easy to follow for completing my therapy at home between visits. Upshot is i was discharged early as the treatment proved so successful. My experience is nothing but positive and would highly recommend ESP and if you are lucky enough to get Jessie then you are onto a winner

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was for me to book my first appointment, some places were unavailable for almost a month but ESP saw me the same week. I was then seen by Jesse, who was fantastic. He performed a mix of different techniques to resolve my issues, sent me off with exercises to do at home (that changed weekly depending on progress) and a lot of education for me to be able to go away and look after myself after my final appointment, while also holding friendly and casual conversation so never an awkward moment. I would highly recommend ESP and Jesse.

Fantastic experience: My experience with ESP has been 5 star from the very start. This is the first time I have had any sort of injury that has needed physio, as we all know we only have one back and the pain the injury was causing made me worry that my career with the Ambulance service would be cut short. In 4 short weeks Jesse has managed to get to the bottom of the issue and with the combination of targeted work on my back during the sessions and the exercises given to me as "home work" I feel like I am well on the way to recovery.
