Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my physiotherapy session with revive . I learned four new exercises to address my hip rotation and address my knee restriction in movement and left side sacrum injury. Sam was very good at putting me at ease and helping me to relax. He is a good teacher and taught me my exercises at a pace I could understand and remember. He was encouraging and had a kind manner which helped me learn what was required . I have received acupuncture which is very relaxing and targeted my pain and lower back injury . I loved the shock waves machine that gave my back pressure and relief . My restrictions in my knee and back pain feels resolved and I feel I am back to baseline . Many thanks Sam for helping me .

Fantastic experience: I have had a very thorough assessment by CJ, and I have now also had my first treatment from Sam. Both of them have been fantastic and clear in what they think I can achieve in getting my fitness back after a knee injury. Am doing my exercises in the meantime too!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing assessment with CJ the lead physio at Revive on Tuesday. I have a lot of complex health issues and this has always caused many issues with physios due to having multi system issues. I have honestly never felt more comfortable with a physio that first they won’t harm me (as many have due to no fault of their own) but that she may be able to really help. I very much appreciated that she was willing to go away and do research for me and my conditions, and not go straight to a bundle of sessions which may not suit me It was a really comprehensive assessment and appointment and for the first time in a long time I actually have hope that my body might be able to get a bit better and not just continually deteriorate. She was kind, reassuring and obviously very very knowledgeable. Also 10/10 got handsome doggo.

Fantastic experience: I had a first review to determine what , if any , treatment was needed. It was thorough and covered many aspects I had not considered. I booked for a series of treatments and have been pleased with the progress. Follow up treatments check for imrovements and adjust the excercise routine to progress recovery. I have been impressed with the professionalism and the avoidance of bombast as to progress, very 'down to earth'.

Fantastic experience: Being with a sciatica flare up is not funny as I was unable to walk for a month that’s right unable to walk after seeing CJ I made a great improvement I started to walk after my second session

You don’t feel like a number here, you are listened to , cared for and we all work together to start the road to recovery. Fantastic experience: Since my initial contact with Revive in Chelmer Village to my first consultation it has been nothing short of professional but with a very warm and friendly atmosphere. My consultation with CJ was certainly an eye opener for me with her vast experience shedding new light on my problems. And whereas most will charge for the first consultation, this first session of getting to know you and the problems you are having with a suitable course of action was completely free. Hopefully it will turn out to be the best 45 minutes of my time I’ve spent in a long time. Thank you Revive and let’s hope these next 6 sessions will start me on the road to a more pain free life.

Fantastic experience: Attended form assessment due to a previous hamstring tear causing a number of knee and back issues. Samual did a very thorough check of my posture and range of movement. From this he has suggested a range of exercises going forward and possibly Scar tissue treatment should this be needed. All in all a very good service which I am sure will enable me to get back into my training routine in the near future. Would highly recommend to anyone suffering injuries that reduce daily life activities.

Fantastic experience: Hi , I have been going to CJ over the years. Their new premises in "ASDA Plaza" are convenient because there are plenty of parking space and easy access . I have been treated recently by Sam the physio (lovely chap) and now by their newest colleague Vicky. She found all the niggly knots and worked them free. Every year there are a few more, now that I am into my 70's. But I just keep going! The treatment rooms are well designed, with anatomy diagrams on the wall to help with explanations. Manual treatments are used more than equipment, and then they remind me of the good exercises for me. Also they talk with you about useful adjustments of posture in your every day life. Try them. You will agree!

I was booked in promptly and given a full assessment by CJ who was very kind and told me how she and the team would be able to help. I was referred to Sam who gave me a range of treatments and exercises to do at home to help heal the injury. after a few sessions I was almost back to my normal self. The team are friendly, professional and offer very effective treatment plans. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked through the front door I knew I was in good hands. Having been told how lovely CJ is by other friends I was relieved to hear that I was being seen by her personally. I'm a bit of a basket case and basically held together with cable ties and sticky tape, but CJ took the time to understand my issues and explained exactly what "we" can do and how it could be done. I even walked out knowing why I feel so uncomfortable. We now have a plan and hopefully light at the end of the tunnel to being able to walk without discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I had treatment on my hip & knee with Katy last year which fixed a problem I'd ignored for almost a year. I could feel it niggling again so I had an appointment yesterday to get on top of it - as much as its a pretty painful massage, I know Katy is getting the right spots and I can feel a difference straight away in my hip, quads and glutes.

The assessment is free and I also received some treatment for a pinched nerve in my lower back and she made some skeletal adjustments that were not painful and my back felt so much better. CJ also gave some great advice post treatment to help to continue my recovery. Fantastic experience: I went to see Katy in quite a lot of pain and limited movement in my neck and arms. Pain in my arm, elbow, shoulder and sciatic area. Now, I’m not saying the treatment didn’t hurt sometimes, but it was absolutely necessary and completely worth it. I am now more aware of how I stand and sit and will also keep doing the stretches and exercises given. Katy was so lovely and I enjoyed catching up with her each session!

Fantastic experience: Following an initial consultation, I signed up for 6 physio sessions to cover 2 different sports injuries. I have been really pleased as both injuries are much improved. Sam was very attentive at providing me with an appropriate exercise plan to work on independently while monitoring progress and using a mixture of massage and shockwave therapy in the sessions. Very professional. I can now incorporate the exercises in my general fitness routine and would certainly return for any additional treatment.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Revive Health by a work colleague that had gone there for treatment and was very impressed and I had seen for myself the improvement in how she managed at work. The improvement in my foot is outstanding. Before the treatment I would wake up some mornings and not be able to put my foot on the floor and walk! Fantastic experience: I've brought my daughter to Revive for help with a hip injury as we'd seen CJ previously. As she's a serious dancer, this issue needed fixing. After an assessment, her treatment was mainly carried out by Sam and his physio treatment, excersises and advice have really helped. He worked out ways to help her that fitted in with her schedule and got her back dancing as quickly as possible.

Fantastic experience: Although it's an hour's drive for me, working with CJ at Revive is worth every teaspoon of petrol used! I originally went for neck & shoulder problems and had to work hard between appointments on my homework exercises! These are essential for undoing long standing issues & helping my body to realign itself. Reward? A massage : ) BUT - be warned! - This is not a mimsy massage but the knots and crunchy bits don't stand a chance under CJ's magic hands! Most recently I consulted CJ for back spasms, and as always she explained exactly what was wrong and after 2 sessions, I was SO much better. These also included Zone work - what a revelation. I'm now doing lots of my own reading around the practice, with a view to working with CJ to tackle my coeliac disease. Watch this space!

Fantastic experience: Having been a client of Revive Health Chelmsford for close to 6 months now I can safely say I have returned to be very high on my own personal 'Straight Index'. Let me explain. I have suffered from irregular back pain & general discomfort for close to 40 years following a skiing incident as a teenager. Since receiving treatment and importantly performing the 'prescribed' stretches and gentle exercises can now say that the discomfort is now far more manageable. This is a huge win for me personally and all I can say is thank you to CJ for her care.

Fantastic experience: I've been having treatment for a while for back pain. I've had different treatments from deep tissue massage to acupuncture and was definitely beginning to feel the effects. Things were improving! This week I have had Zone therapy treatment and I have to say, the effects are astonishing. I can still feel an ache in my lower back, but the pain has mainly gone. I have three more sessions booked, so I'm hopeful that this will put me on the road to complete recovery. CJ is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I visited Revive Health yesterday, and had a lower leg massage on both legs from the knees down to my feet . I suffer from Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, this means I get fluid retention in my lower legs , ankles and feet. This can at times be extremely painful , but after an excellent massage to these areas by Vicky my legs and feet were much more relaxed and comfortable. This young lady is excellent at her job , and I would recommend Vicky to anyone in need of an easing of their symptoms , whilst being made to feel very relaxed. I have already booked my next appointment in two weeks time, and I am looking forward to it very much ! Trevor

Fantastic experience: Revive were recommended to me by one of the fitness instructors at Riverside Leisure. CJ is one of there most knowledgeable and practical health professionals I've met, along with the team, Revive offer holistic physiotherapy that is results focused. Revive have successfully treated me previously for chronic tennis elbow no one else could cure, and more recently a nagging and persistent intercostal muscle strain, after three treatments things are definitely improving and I can now see light at there end of the tunnel! Thank you to all at Revive. Highly recommend for sports injury and physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Revive enough. I was struggling with pain in my right leg for months, coming up to a year. When I ran it was fine, shortly after finishing it would hurt for about 24 hours then would subside to a dull ache. Until I ran again and the same would start all over again. Running faster (for me) and further caused more pain, so I stopped and just plodded around but I was fed up. I had seen other professionals however no one had managed to identify or solve the problem. When I first spoke to Ali he was great. Really listened to what I was saying and identified that he thought that CJ would be the best fit to help me. A week later I had my first appointment with CJ and she was amazing. Within about 15 minutes of meeting me she had identified the cause of the problem and told me how we were going to fix it. It wasn’t an overnight fix, but from the first appointment there was a vast improvement. I was able to run faster again and further. I had to go back for further treatment and had some homework (strength work) but after about 3 months I need no more treatment. I am fixed! I still need to keep up with strength but I haven’t had the same pain in my leg at all since about 2 weeks after first meeting CJ. The team have also been great and put my hip in the right place both before and after some races I have been at recently. I will never be the fastest runner but I enjoy it. That enjoyment got lost in amongst the pain but now it is back! Thank you CJ and team!

Fantastic experience: Have been seeing CJ for zone therapy re menopause. The difference is amazing. The brain fog has cleared and the body/mental fatigue has gone. Sleep is greatly improved as well. Would totally recommend trying this.

Fantastic experience: So much to say, but short version is that I was injured in January and about to cancel my London Marathon attempt with Farleigh Hospice due to calf issue. Previous physio did not solve it. Had a consultation with CJ and Ali, was 'balanced' - which I still do not understand and incredibly within a week I was mobile after 4 weeks out. Training plan into place, balancing continued with Katy providing physio every week up until the start. I honestly owe everything to these guys, I came to them in desperation and ended up finishing London Marathon 3 months later. Not only that, I was able to complete 6 half marathons in a row and a marathon as part of training! Unbelievable, awesome and brilliant - huge thumbs up!!
