Fantastic experience: The staff and the services provided here are superb. Thoroughly recommend. They have done so much for me the last year recovering from a quad tendon rupture. With their guidance, support and direction I am now fully recovered and back to where I was prior to the injury.

I had an initial consultation where they carried out a thorough examination of my shoulder, did lots of moving and manipulation to assess my shoulder, asked a bank of questions on what/how I got the injury and then gave a list of options, that are very reasonably priced. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend.

They looked at my whole body, ran some ultrasound scans and more importantly really listened to what I had to say. They are very professional and supportive. Fantastic experience: I've had a nerve issue with my left arm and shoulder for too long and got to the point where it was affecting me handling my 3 month old baby. I was given a prompt appointment and had awesome follow up automation in regards of an information email and medical history form to fill. I arrived pre the late booked appointment, this was the 30th of December by the way, and was attended on time. The Assessment itself was great, informative, educating and with a clear path of physio laid out for me afterwards. They also run an app for both Android and Apple with therapies laid out within. I will be going back for a review soon.

Fantastic experience: As ever, excellent care from the team at GNP. Phil is most knowledgeable and explains in detail, but easily understandable terms, the possible cause/effect of the issue. And it's all done in a caring and friendly manner which certainly puts this patient at ease. His exercise plans are at a suitable level and easy to follow. The receptionists do their best to make appointments that fit in with everyday life, including rearrangements if cancellations become available. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: A well ordered appointment. Competently carried out It made more sense to me than countless similar appointments have. From getting dispondant, with little hope, a light switched on and there was a road to pain free movement!!! Brilliant!!!!

She showed me alternative moves to do at the gym and sent me exercises to do daily. And she worked a miracle, as my back was almost “normal” the day after my appointment!

Fantastic experience: I went in absolute agony with my lower back pain , on ibuprofen and paracetamol. Lauren was amazing and very thorough, after my 45 minute session I came out feeling a lot better and haven’t had to take any pain relief since my visit.

Fantastic experience: 17:19 On my arrival I was warmly greeted by Katie before being introduced to Phil. I quickly found out that my age (born '43) was of no importance when it came to assessing the exercise regimen that I needed to improve the strength of my abdominal and core muscles. I hadn't expected to have parts of my anatomy subjected to an ultrasound scan - a novel and very illuminating experience. I left the premises very well informed, and on arriving home once more, I was delighted to have received links to exceptionally helpful videos that demonstrated the various exercises that I had previously had shown to me. Finding and using my pelvic floor muscles was a 'voyage of discovery'

Fantastic experience: Rowan gave me a thorough initial assessment and was excellent and reassuring at explaining what the problem was and what I needed to do to help fix it. He sent me videos of the exercises so there was no doubt how to perform them.

Fantastic experience: I visited Great Northern Physiotherapy earlier this week, my first time going to a physio for anything, for a problem with my foot. I was booked in with Phil for an initial assessment and a scan. Phil was brilliant, really made me feel comfortable and took his time to talk me through the issue I have been dealing with and what the steps were going to be moving forwards. The practise itself is great and immediately gives off the air of professionalism you'd want to feel when walking in for the first time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I have been suffering with on and off pain in my leg for a few weeks and couldn’t determine the cause. I attended an initial appointment and scan with Phil and was so impressed with how thorough he was in checking the condition of my muscles, and discovering a small tear. It was a relief to finally know the cause of my pain and the reassurance that it can be improved with guidance and exercises. Will definitely continue physio here and would return in future if I have another injury!

Fantastic experience: If you are in pain and fed up of getting no relief abs no one listening, visit them now!!! All their staff are caring, they listen and take your pain / injuries seriously, I’ve been visiting them for a few years now with arthritis issues in my shoulder, knee and ankle and they always get to the root of the problems and start therapy instantly, I’ve been in considerable pain sometimes but I have had fantastic pain relief results from dry needling, injection therapy and shockwave. Being able to have an in-depth area scanned with such persuasion at short notice is so valuable… you’re never told there is nothing they can do here as there is always something they can do! I took pills upon pills trying to get pain relief for years before visiting the team at great northern! I rarely take pills now!

Fantastic experience: After 15+ years of seeing doctors & consultants with no solution to my knee pain, Phil was able to diagnose & treat the root of my knee problem. Over the last 4/5 years when my knee has a flare up I book in for a short course of shockwave treatment which to date has helped incredibly. Staff are very friendly & eager to help, it’s a very relaxed atmosphere. I can’t rate this place high enough.
