Fantastic experience: Walked in very sore and been struggling for a long time. I've had a military physio that was good and a NHS physio work on my issue, this was my first session at Cliff Villages Physio. Spent some time listening to the issue, progress and previous treatment, then had a look. After one session, had to tell him it was worth every penny! Much better, thank you! Booked in again for a follow up and if your in need, I really do recommend you try here first.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend Matt and Cliff Villages to anyone. He is very knowledgeable and a genuine, nice bloke. I went with back problems which had been ongoing for a couple of years, he identified the issue, gave me some exercises for stretching and strengthening and monitored it over the course of a month or two. Once progress had been made he advised me to come back if any problems, now feels better than it has for ages.

Fantastic experience: Mat was really knowledgeable and helpful. I believed I had a shoulder issue causing pins and needles in my index finger, Mat quickly found an issue in my neck that was likely compressing the nerve. A course of massages and stretches ensured a quick reduction in pain and a lessening of the pins and needles. Once almost recovered we discussed prevention, I was kind of expecting a massive list of exercises that I would keep up for a little while but ultimately stop doing as it would be too demanding. Instead I got 2 simple exercises to do whilst the kettle boils, So I am still doing it; it was actually a really clever idea that many other physio's could take note of. Really happy with how I have recovered under Mat's care, would definitely recommend!

He talked me through everything he was doing and why, so I could fully understand what the causes of my lower back issues were and gave me some good exercises to take away which are proving to be working very well. With matts treatment and a stretching programme given to me by matt i was back on my feet. He explains why the problem is occurring and advises exercises that I can do to help but also spends alot of time massaging and manipulating the area. It feels so much better. Fantastic experience: My first appointment with Matt followed a personally demanding period when I had a hip replacement and a spinal infection. I was in hospital for 8 weeks and I was almost unable to walk unaided. I visited Matt regularly and he offered various exercises to improve my mobility. Matt also provided the motivation when things got tough. I am now 10 weeks on from leaving hospital. I am able to walk without crutches and walking sticks. I feel stronger and more confident to the point where I'm considering a return to playing golf. I would recommend Matt as an excellent physiotherapist.

Fantastic experience: First visit to a Physio after years of intermittent knee pain when exercising. Mathew was able to reassure me that there was nothing wrong with the joints and the pain was being caused by a combination of weak muscles. I've been doing the recommended exercises twice a day for a few weeks now and the improvement is already obvious. I'd gotten used to always being aware my knees were a little unhappy, but now they've stopped whinging. I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm extra motivated to exercise how I chose, without having to modify to take my knees into account.
