Nearly 50 years ago, I was born in communist country left handed, where those days no one wasn’t allowed to be different and mum had to change that and I became right handed. A year with Epoch, my brain start allowing me to become who I’m! They brought my natural born Me back.

Fantastic experience: Epoch is more than a chiropractor. Each and every member of staff is warm and friendly make you are friends, they are always happy to see you they go above and beyond to help. I’ve been seeing Sophie for 8 weeks now and she has worked wonders on my posture and bones. When I first arrived I had pain in my legs, hips back and neck. My neck was most severe would lock when I’d be at work. I now only have a slight pain in my neck. Going to epoch has really changed my life I’m now 99% pain free and for once I have a normal sleep pattern. I wish I’d found them sooner.

Fantastic experience: I’d never considered chiropractic care as I didn’t have ‘a bad back’ but do spend a lot of time sitting at a desk or travelling so approached this with a ‘prevention rather than cure’ perspective. After assessment, Sophie suggested a course of treatment to help correct a few things that, while not yet problematic, would be likely to be issues if left. Sophie’s treatment has improved my overall mobility and general level of comfort, from a place where I was unaware of the discomfort I was experiencing. Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Epoch Lincoln since I had lower spinal disc issues 3 years ago. My treatments from start to present day have been nothing but exemplary with attention to detail in initial assessments, ongoing maintenance, progress exams and follow ups have kept me in a much better state of repair and recovery. Dr Tom, and colleagues have been exceptional with their friendly, compassionate and prompt support. I don’t just class Epoch Lincoln as a centre of excellence- I have new friends because if it’s community approach, especially Dr Tom and his wife Sarah. In the last few months, I have required DR Tim’s treatments more than I bargained for with another injury, his determination to help, ongoing fantastic clinical knowledge to get me up and walking with intense adjustment and treatment plan have got me back to a more mobile and less painful state. It’s an ongoing long-term recovery due to condition but I know I’m in the best hands to aid my return to full function. Fantastic experience: Hi, having been to a Physio a number of times to resolve a neck problem which was stopping me looking over my right shoulder and not been successful, I thought I would give Chiropractor a go. I had an initial assessment and made an appointment to see Sophie. Within a couple of visit I was able to look right when coming to a T junction in my car which I had not been able do for some time. On going treatment has improved a number of minor issues. Sophie and the team are always helpful and friendly and I would recommend them to anybody.

Fantastic experience: After having lower back problems and herniated discs for years I'd exhausted all my options with the NHS and wasn't any better so after another bad attack and having to cancel my holiday I decided it was time to try find a different solution. I was recommended Epoch by a friend so I booked in for an assessment, I have to say it was the best thing I ever did ,the assessment was so thorough I had x-rays and posture scans when I went back for my findings report I learnt more in that session than I had in the last three years with my consultant. Sophie my chiropractor was very kind and considerate and explained everything to me then worked out a treatment plan for me ,I didn't feel pressured at all to sign up because it is a big commitment financially and timewise I am now 8 weeks into my treatment and it is going so well,at the start I couldn't manage 10 minutes in the car without being in agony now I can do over an hour! Fantastic experience: I have suffered with back and neck problems for several years now, and a friend suggested I contact Dr. Sophie at the Epoch Centre. This I did in April, with some trepidation as I have seen several chiropractors over the years, but I still suffer from neck and back pain. The first thing Sophie did was to x-ray my body to find out what the problem was. This was a first for me. Once she knew what the problem was, she started work putting it right. My wife and I went for a 2 mile walk along the beach last week. This is the first time I have been able to go for a walk with my wife in over 4 years. In only 3 months, I can do things I never thought I would ever be able to do again. My treatment is still ongoing, and it is the little things that make a big difference. Like getting into and out of the car without pain, sitting up to get out of bed instead of crawling out. The big thing is being able to spend most of my day pain-free. Fergie.

Fantastic experience: I was introduced to the Epoch lifestyle by a friend and have been attending now for a few months. The initial diagnostic assessment of my condition was a real eye opener, showing some of the root causes of my lower back pain by and neck stiffness. Fantastic experience: Having previously suffered at the hands of an unqualified chiropractor I was dubious about whether Epoch would be able to help me. However, I was aware that they would carry out an initial assessment and xray before starting any treatment. This highlighted more than I expected. I thought it would be years before my neck could be straightened after 40 years of sitting at a desk. In 9 months the difference Sophie has made to my posture has been remarkable. She is gently firm when moving my body back into position. She explains what she is doing and why. I can’t fault her attention and skill. Fantastic experience: I have a few spinal problems that affect my mobility and I've suffered from migraines for as long as I can remember. I decided to try Epoch in Lincoln as I was getting desperate and needed help with the pains I had. I've been having treatment from Sophie and oh my goodness, I am absolutely delighted with the treatment. It was explained to me that the treatment would take a while to show improvements but each time I go I feel the benefits. I wish I had tried it years ago. The waiting room and treatment areas are always clean and no one bats an eye when you remove your dirty boots at the door. James is very calming and always has a smile on his face. Fantastic experience: Joan DeFraine April 2025 I’ve been a patient at Epoch for over 7 years and I still regularly visit the centre every 2 weeks for an adjustment. This is a necessary part of my life, particularly as I get older, because I know that it’s so important to keep my spine in the best shape possible. I have a specific problem that Dr Tom understands and treats accordingly, keeping me moving and able to lead a full and active life. Joan Defraine April 2023 So, here I am, 5 years on from when I visited Epoch for the first time and I'm still going. My regular visits ensure that I can carry on doing everything that I want to do, be it walking the dog 2-3 miles a day, digging the garden or, to Tom's horror, using a chain saw to prune my trees without the back pain that I've suffered with for most of my life. Not bad for a 78 year old! Joan Defraine Nov 2019 I started my journey with Epoch in February 2018 during a particularly bad recurrence of the intermittent back pain that has blighted my life for nearly 60 years. I didn’t expect an overnight cure-all, but over the duration of my first course of intensive treatment the improvement was obvious. My quality of life was changing for the better so I signed up for a further course of treatment. As time went on I found that the good times far exceeded the bad and I could do more of the things that I enjoyed like badminton and walking. I was virtually pain free for the most part and life was very different. So you might ask, if I am pain free, why do I continue to visit Epoch 21 months on? There are 2 reasons for that, the first being that I’m afraid I might revert back to the way things were before. After 18 months, things were going so well that I cut down my weekly visits to fortnightly; big mistake! After 2 months I was feeling the lack of my weekly top ups as the discomfort started to become apparent once again and I am now back on my essential weekly adjustments. There has been no better wake-up call than this and I won’t be doing that again! It’s weekly for me from now on and the benefits of chiropractic have been proved to me beyond all doubt. The second reason I keep going to Epoch is quite simply that I enjoy my visits which have become a regular part of my life and routine. Dr Tom and his team are always so welcoming and friendly; I feel valued and not just a patient. Through Tom’s monthly talks I have learnt that my health and well being are not just down to them and they have given me the tools and the knowledge to improve things for myself. Fantastic experience: My experience at Epoch has been life changing. When I met Dr James I was using two crutches at times a walking stick. After a few weeks being adjusted by Dr James I don’t need crutches I can run up the stairs at home, I can lift my 8 year old niece up, these are things I could not do a few months ago. Fantastic experience: I was skeptical about chiropractic treatment and even chiropractors until we decided to seek help/advice after being misguided a few of times after calling 111. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Tom since she was 3 weeks old (she’s 18 months now), due to the nature of a speedy birth some of her senses weren’t triggered (we had no idea) and after a few visits she completely changed. We knew she wasn’t "just a colic baby" and Dr. Tom took the time and effort to listen to us and helped us out. Because of that I also decided to get treatment for myself and the results after six months have been impressive with the adjustments and the progress reviews you get to see the changes your body is making. I went from having pain in my neck and lower back with bad posture to almost none with good posture and it’s been improving quicker than I anticipated. Fantastic experience: I have been very happy with my chiropractic treatment from Tom, and every one of the team has been so kind and caring. I have now had 3 progress examinations, and can not believe in the spine alignment improvement, as an older person I did not think this would be possible. I had a serious accident in 1990, since then I have had severe vertigo, this has been almost eliminated by Tom's treatment. I have had a vast improvement in my well being and overall health. I had a free spinal assessment, I knew my posture was bad ~ not helped by 32 years in the NHS what I didn't realise was how bad my posture was . Fantastic experience: How I wish I’d taken the plunge and visited Epoch years ago. I found the idea of chiropractic rather scary, but deciding to go for it after yet another sleepless night due to pain in my back, hip and leg, has been absolutely life changing. A week after a very thorough assessment, which included x-rays and a close look at my posture, it was time for my first adjustments with dr Sophie, who put me totally at ease and made the whole experience a whole lot less scary than what I thought it was going to be. After just one adjustment I felt so much better already and after just a few more, the pain in my back, hip and leg has nearly gone and no longer wakes me up several times during the night, my posture has improved dramatically and I feel a lot lighter when walking. Dr Sophie is absolutely wonderful and so are all the other members of staff I have met so far. So, if you are hesitant about going the chiropractic route, please don’t be. You will be in very very good hands, and it could well turn out to be the best decision you ever make.

Fantastic experience: I originally visited Epoch couple of weeks ago suffering with severe headaches, nausea and vertigo amongst other symptoms. Multiple visits to a GP throughout the year proved ineffective and It had been affecting my family and social life, making me feel down most of the time. Sophie took measurements and scans which showed I had a misalignment in my neck and lost its curve. I found it very informative how she sat down and showed me all the results explaining what it all meant. Fantastic experience: Tom, at Epoch, has been my saving grace! I started my treatment here, with him, about six years ago, after suffering with a permanent but intermittent back issue for years. Like a lot of people, my spine was in quite a bad way, which was proved by the x-rays I had initially! From then on, my treatment began, and was quite intensive for six weeks, following his designed plan for me. After several months, I was finally ready to go onto once a month ‘maintenance’ adjustments, which is where I’m at now. Fortunately, my previous issue of being ‘floored’ for days at a time, has completely gone! Fantastic experience: I have been receiving chiropractic care for over 2yrs now. I am 70yrs of age worth a long history of back problems due to nursing and familial arthritis. Fantastic experience: Over the weekend my back started to play up and knew I had to get booked in for a session with Tom. I have been seeing Tom for over 3 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else for a treatment. The epoch app is brilliant , it is so easy to use. Fantastic experience: At the beginning of 2024, I made a promise to myself that this would be the year, I got lasting help with my neck pain, headaches and migraines. I’ve tried so many different approaches over the last 25 years, to rid myself of the constant debilitating effects, this pain produces on your body. Not only have I had a lot of family issues this year but was suffering with a lot of pain in my shoulder and right arm. They took x-rays and discovered I had a significant problem with my neck.
