Fantastic experience: Today was the first time I had been to this clinic. I was diagnosed with sciatica in November last year. After visiting 2 doctors and 2 physios on the NHS I was still left in pain. I tried a private physio and whilst things did get better, I did suffer a relapse and was back to square one. After a search on the internet, I found this clinic which had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Dr Ruth Hunter was great. She was checked me out and explained what was wrong and the treatment that was needed. Needless to say, I walked out of the clinic just about pain free. When I got home, again I got out of the car without any pain, which I could not have done before.

Fantastic experience: I went to see this Dr for the 1st time today She was extremely nice and very thorough, went through my problems and explained what was wrong with me, she gave me some treatment and also some practical advice I was a bit anxious about going because I've never been to a chiropractor before but I can assure you she was brilliant I am going again on Friday for some further treatment to help me before I go on holiday I recommend this to everyone and don't know why I waited so long

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I have been to a Chiropractor as my osteopath has retired. I had an initial telephone consultation to discuss medical history etc then a face to face appointment with Dr R Hunter. She was extremely thorough and explained why I was getting the pain and how she would like to proceed if I agreed. The initial session was a gentle massage to try to release some tension today is the day after and I do not feel as much pain as before the treatment, I can’t wait until next week for my second treatment, Would I recommend them most certainly. I have now had a further two treatments and I can feel the muscles relaxing.

Fantastic experience: I abused my back lifting flagstones 4 months ago. My back had been painful non-stop. I was on a cocktail of painkillers each day. It seemed to be getting worse, not improving. I made an appointment to see Ruth Hunter and completed the detailed questionnaire online. On arrival, it was obvious it had been read carefully. A detailed assessment followed and my first treatment. I did feel a slight improvement. I booked more sessions. Currently, I have had only three visits but the constant, nagging pain is almost gone. I have stopped the painkillers. I will continue with the treatments. Much happier with my lower back now. My only regret is that I suffered like an idiot for months before taking action. The Clinic is spotlessly clean and the treatment has given massive benefits after only a few visits. At the first sign of any problems in the future, I'll be back. I'm very happy to recommend Chapeltown and Ecclesfield Chiropractic Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I was in excruciating pain in my hips, lower back & neck & I was also experiencing constant pins & needles in my feet. After Ruth Hunter asked me a series of questions & examined me, she knew exactly what was causing the problems. After treatment I felt like a new woman & the pins & needles have gone away. I was also given exercises to prevent this from happening again. My partner has also been suffering with back pain & Ruth has really helped him too. I highly recommend Ruth she’s fantastic! 5*

Dr Ruth took a very detailed history of my lower back problem. Did a thorough examination and then explained what the issues were and the course of treatment which started straight away. Fantastic experience: My 1st appointment today with Dr Ruth Hunter and I was very impressed with everything. I was made to feel very welcome on arrival by the lovely receptionist and then again by Ruth. She diagnosed the source of my pain issues, explained them very clearly, and gave therapy I can honestly say resulted in the most comfortable nights sleep I've had in months. I can't rate her highly enough. More sessions are needed but I'm confident I'm in very good hands.

Fantastic experience: Enquired online for an assessment for my current pain issues, and less than 24 hrs later I’ve had a phone assessment and been booked in for an ‘in person’ assessment. Couldn’t be happier with the service so far and my chat with Dr Claudia D’Aloia was very reassuring. She had a lovely calming tone, asked many questions and gave good outlines of how the process could go from here. Very impressed and happy so far *Update* I have now had 3 sessions at this clinic with both Dr Ruth Hunter & Dr Kirsten MacGregor and my experience has been excellent. Both Doctor’s were very professional, knowledgeable and reassuring and I’ve had various hands on treatments for my sciatic issues and my symptoms do seem to be elevating. So far my experience has been excellent. Thank you. *Further Update* After a fantastic initial block of appointments where I believe I saw every Dr based at this clinic, I can safely say that these wonderful people are just the best! I am currently mainly seeing Dr Harry Sylvester on Saturdays which really helps with my very restricted availability during the week. Each Dr has their own style of treatment and each is as effective as the previous. My issues have been substantially reduced to almost nothing and I am currently on a more elongated (every 4-6 week) plan of appointments in order to keep myself as supple and pain free as I can to try not to have the same issues occur in the future. I would highly recommend getting in touch with this practice should you be unfortunate enough to be in a similar situation to what I initially was. Fantastic experience: Around 6 months ago whilst simply bending to tie my shoe lace, my back simply went. Unable to move for a week or two, decided to visit Kirsten. Delighted. Had a few weekly sessions then moved to a monthly maintenance session. Kirsten is very knowledgeable and in my opinion, definitely someone who knows what she is doing. Highly recommended.
