I first went to see Raphael around 12 months ago with a significant back injury that left me struggling to weight bear properly. As a horse rider, my biggest fear was that I might never be able to ride again. What impressed me most was that Raphael didn't just focus on the physical injury; he took the time to listen to my concerns and understand the anxiety I was experiencing about losing something that is such an important part of my life. Throughout my treatment, Raphael was professional, supportive, and encouraging. He reassured me that with the right recovery plan, patience, and exercises, I would be able to return to riding gradually. His positive approach gave me confidence at a time when I really needed it. Within two months, I was back in the saddle, able to walk and trot comfortably, and today I am back enjoying my horse fully, hacking around the countryside and participating in all the activities I love. Raphael's expertise, encouragement, and genuine care made a huge difference to both my physical recovery and my mental wellbeing. My 86 years old wife has been treated by Dr Goddard for her severe spinal problems and she thought I should consult him. Fantastic experience: So, I partly don't want to tell you how great this chiropractor is, because then you'll all go there and I might not be able to get an appointment!!! But, I was in some pain for weeks, and now I'm not. I was doing slow stretches, having hot baths, just trying to ease it to feel better and after an appointment with Raph, and a nap when I got home (he did tell me I might feel tired), no more pain. Fantastic experience: Been having the K Laser treatment since April when I broke my ankle and must say it has helped no end. Staff are really helpful and friendly, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Over the years I've had numerous osteopaths & chiropractors but Anglia Chiropractic Healthcare has been first class & exemplary, I've now been a regular for many years. Raphael's skill, expertise and client relationship is unsurpassed . The reception staff are wonderful and one has a genuine Norfolk accent which is great to hear.

Negative experience: I had been travelling a 45/50 minute each way journey for a 30 minute chiropractic and laser treatment with Dr Raphael Schafer, which on the whole had been beneficial, until my treatment on 29 February. My appointment was for 4.30pm and Raphael was running rather late - even the receptionist apologised for him running late. He called me through at 4.42pm for my treatment - had a chat about how I was getting on, he then proceeded to give me approx 6 minutes of laser treatment, then about 2-3 minutes of manual treatment and then said he had finished. I was back in reception at 4.58pm. So I was in and out of the treatment room in 16 minutes and paid £55. I am under the impression that he just cut my session extremely short to allow him to catch up and to finish work on time - but still charge me full price for half a session!!! I emailed Anglian Chiropractic to complain and cancelled my future appointments as I decided to go elsewhere where I would receive the treatment I was paying for. The receptionist did call me back and advised that Raphael was on holiday and that they would respond upon his return. They did not!!! The fact that they have basically ignored my complaint and haven’t had the courtesy to respond - makes me believe that they are not interested in their patients - just their hard earned money.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Anglia Chiropractic for several years now, having been recommended by my mum, after I had finished physio due to a torn tendon. I had began walking to compensate the pain and had put my body out of alignment. After a thorough examination Raphael explained how he could treat me and within that first appointment I was pain free for the first time in a long time. Every so often I return to be "tweaked" as the discomfort does return and am always greeted with a friendly smile by the lovely receptionists. Raphael always listens to me and I feel safe and comfortable during the treatment. Its money well spent and I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, wouldn’t recommend. Attended numerous sessions with Andy for issues with lower and mid back. Problems with lower back lessened but mid back issues remained the same. Found it peculiar that Andy felt it necessary to crack my neck every session but didn’t question it as he was the expert. After some time my wife insisted I tried elsewhere and haven’t looked back. Immediately evident from their investigation, approach and technique that this was the right choice. Now finishing third week and back has not been this well in a long time. P.s. not a single neck crack required which I suspect confirms my suspicion that this was akin to a party trick. In summary, whilst I am grateful for the effort, I would highly recommend seeking treatment elsewhere.

Instead he explained alot about my spine and what may help... Over the pass few months my slip discs have been getting better with lazer treatment. Big thank you to Andy and Donna for all the help they have been given me. I am still having lazer treatment here and will still return when I need to. Would 100% recommend anglia chiropractor

I have always received an excellent professional, personal and effective service. Almost overnight I went from reliance on pain relief to not using any. Negative experience: Very disappointed with their service and aftercare. Asked for the laser treatment and Raphael checked with receptionist and I was booked in for the following day, however I never received the treatment. I have been left in considerable pain and was unable to get any sleep last night and the pain has continued today. After contacting them and asking to cancel any further appointments due to pain i had been left in, I received an email saying if they could be of any further help to contact them. There was no concern or support offered as to why i had been left in so much pain. Only after i emailed to complain about their aftercare did someone try to contact me. But the trust has been lost due to this needing to be pointed out! I have now paid £88 and I am in more pain than I was before my appointment.

Negative experience: Called up to ask whether or not a chiropractor was the right professional who could assist with my wife’s rotating cuff syndrome. Spoke to a very abrupt receptionist who refused to answer the question and repeatedly insisted that she should come in for a £50.00 consultation to find out. I was quite happy to book the consultation provided I could be assured that a chiropractor was the correct medical professional for this injury/condition. In the end due to the rudeness and bullying way in which I was spoken to I decided to look for another company in Norwich as is always the customers prerogative. Business must be booming at Anglia chiropractic if they can afford to lose business in this way.

Fantastic experience: Andy was able to assess and correctly identify a problem with my son's hip. This problem had evaded the physiotherapist my son had been seeing for some time. After just three sessions with Andy and some guidance on exercise, my son is now completely pain free. We are really grateful for your input Andy, impressed by your clinical knowledge and would definitely recommend your service.

Fantastic experience: So this will be one of several reviews over the forthcoming weeks. My family and I have had the benefit of Andy and his teams skills over many years. They are awesome. But this review is specifically about the Laser. I have to have arthoroscopies on both knees in August. However with two months to go the right knee has become more and more painful, so much so that for a keen runner, cyclist and indoor rower, even going up and down stairs really hurts. I am two sessions into a course of twelve. I would say that the level of pain in my right knee has decreased by about half in only a few days. I am gobsmacked. How can shining a light on your knee make it so much better? I am a lawyer not a scientist so have no idea but I do know one thing....I am fairly sure it's working. I will keep you all posted.

Fantastic experience: After suffering from Bell 's Palsy, once my course of steroids were completed, Andrew suggested I started a course of K-Laser therapy. I had been experiencing acute pain in my face and ear. Almost immediately after the first session the pain had gone completely. After several sessions, there were noticeable improvements in the muscle tone of my face and around my eye with the areas looking much less droopy. As sessions progressed, the paralysis reduced and I regained more muscle control. I did not experience any negative side effects from the treatment. The recovery will be a slow process, but I can highly recommend the benefits I gained from having the K-Laser therapy. I would like to thank Andrew and the team for their amazing support. Des.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Anglia Chiropractic by a friend and book an appointment when I developed severe upper back pain. I was sceptical of just how effective the treatment would be but I was willing to try anything. After my first treatment I had noticeable improvement in movement and a lessening of the pain in my back. After a few subsequent appointments my back is as good as new. I saw Dr O'Gorman (Ed), I found him to be genuinely concerned for my well being and understanding of questions that I had regarding my treatment as well as working his best to make sure I was comfortable during my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I never bother writing reviews but had such a great experience I feel compelled to. I consulted Anglia Chiropractic for my headaches as most of my family have already been for similar things. I've tried so many pills and potions from the chemist and my GP with no success that I'd assumed that this wouldn't work too but I was wrong. I'm amazed! I'm only 4 weeks in but haven't had a headache for a week now which hasn't happened for years. Andy was so thorough and explained the process from the start.
