Fantastic experience: I've had flare ups with my back on and off for years, this time it was unbearable, I couldn't sit, stand or lie down without being in excruciating pain, 3 days and nights I struggled and I realised I couldn't carry on, so had a look on Internet and found Gloucester Chiropractors which is close to home in Brockworth, got an appointment within a couple of days. Tom was the chap I saw and within that session I was starting to feel slightly better, then after a few more sessions I was pain free, Tom is amazing, he listens to you and the advise he gives me is amazing. So my advice is don't suffer in pain get yourself booked into these chaps, it's worth it Also forgot to mention I have suffered with gluteal tendinopathy for over 2 years and Tom has helped to settle that down as well, I'm so grateful thank you Tom

Fantastic experience: Mr Rose gave a 10 out of 10 treatment plan that relieved the pain in my neck that I have had for 10 years. He also made me my own made to measure pillow that he customised himself. Fitting in and around my neck perfectly right down to the last millimetre. A pillow Dr is a must purchase if you suffer from bad sleep from pain or ill fitted pillows.

Fantastic experience: The care and treatment I have received has been first class. I originally sought help for a very painful upper back spasm. Tom quickly diagnosed the cause and he embarked on a 4 week treatment programme. Initial results were very encouraging and pain quickly began to subside. By the end of the 4 week treatment program I was totally pain free which continues to date. Fantastic experience: Having suffered with back problems for many years I would, occasionally, get flair up's that would generally settle within a few days. However, this time for some reason it was not to be. After a week or more of extreme pain and immobility, on the recommendation of friends, I booked an appointment at Gloucester Chiropractors. Tom was very thorough in his approach and suggested it could take 8-10 treatments to get me back on track. After five treatments I was able to play golf again and I'm now feeling better and more flexible that I have in a long time. Thank you Tom for getting me back on track.

Fantastic experience: I had been really struggling with a painful shoulder for a couple of years. When passing one day I called in on the off chance they could help, the best decision I’ve made in a long time. After a couple of sessions with David and then with Harry for their sports massage, I can again put my coat on pain free, have my grandchildren climb on me and hold their hands when out, strength in my shoulder to swim like before. My shoulder movement isn’t back completely, but the pain has virtually gone, but most importantly my life is back as it was before. I can’t thank the team enough or recommend them more highly.

Positive experience: Im a fairly active person but yesterday i woke up and my upper body just gave up on me! What started as a bit of trap discomfort quickly progressed within hours into the right side of my neck and suddenly it felt like a neck sprain or a car crash injury. I could barely turn my head to the right without pain. This clinic is right by my gym & where i live which is so handy. I had work the next day so needed quick treatment. The chiropractors were all booked up as its christmas but i was able to book a same day massage with Harry and im so glad i did. He was chatty, made me comfortable right away with a sports massage & now i can goto work today! It was the most painful massage ive ever had but only as i was full of knots/tension! My only tiny moan was i was half naked and the heating went off so i was freezing and shaking it was so cold at one point but everything else was insane thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this practice for approximately 12 months, initially to seek help with a knee injury. This has been eased considerably and I have continued with maintenance to treat other long term problems.

Fantastic experience: I have experienced recurring episodes of vertigo for several years, and more recently began suffering from severe neck pain. Whenever I pressed on a particular area of my neck, the vertigo symptoms would return, bringing on giddiness and nausea. In the past, I underwent physiotherapy and was diagnosed with a lack of balance on my left side. The therapist worked to retrain my brain to recognise balance on that side, and the treatment significantly reduced my vertigo symptoms. During my first appointment with Chiropractor Alex, I explained how pressing on my neck would trigger vertigo. The area was very painful, and I struggled to turn my head fully to the right. From that first consultation, Alex identified the true underlying problem: a damaged disc in my neck. He also pinpointed issues in my back—two previously prolapsed discs and a trapped nerve—which had caused sciatica in the past. Taking all of this into account, Alex recommended a five-to-six-week treatment plan that addressed both my current concerns and my long-standing back issues. Within just three weeks, both my neck and back pain had eased significantly, and my mobility was steadily improving. I’m extremely impressed with the clinic as a whole. Alex is professional, thorough, and patient, and each consultation felt well considered and tailored to my needs. Fantastic experience: I was recommended by my daughter to see Tom for my back, ribs and sternum pain and occasional sciatica. Tom was very professional, friendly and talked me through everything making me feel at ease. I have seen Tom for 6 sessions so far and I can already feel a difference. I get occasional pain now and have noticed that I’m sleeping a lot better and not feeling so tired. My digestive system also feels a lot better and I’m not getting as much pain on my right side by my ribs. I would definitely recommend Tom and will continue to see him to keep my back, ribs and sternum in line.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Gloucester Chiropractors for nearly 3 years now. All the people here are absolute professionals, great people and incredibly knowledgeable. David has kept me going time and time again, I have been in with injuries that I thought I would have to live with the pain, but have gone away after an adjustment with zero pain, he helped me also with some long term issues, all the while being friendly and great to chat to! More recently I have seen Tom who has carried over where David left off, a very sympathetic adjuster and great person to talk to! I also saw Alex at a time when I had a bad injury and a competition to get to, and his knowledge of the types of movements I was doing was so useful and he managed to alleviate the issue and I made my competition. Additionally to this I see Harry at least twice a week and then specifically for recovery massages after competition, and this complements the chiro perfectly. I honestly think there are times I would not be able to walk after training hard or competitions without these guys, they are my go to for any musculoskeletal issues before the doctor now, that's how good they all are! And the bonus on top is their friendly chatter with me while I talk rubbish at them ! Couldn't recommend more!

Fantastic experience: I started seeing David in January with bad sciatica, couldn’t walk very far couldn’t sit for long sleeping was difficult, the osteopath I usually go to was on holiday so my brother-in-law recommended David, rang to make an appointment got in the following day and I haven’t looked back I am so much better, just go for maintenance now. I am seeing Tom at the moment equally as good. David also recommended massage because i was so tight in my back neck, so i saw Harry for a few sessions and what a difference. I highly recommend them all wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Tom over a period of three months, (not every week) made a great difference, I don't have any problems with my Sciatica Nerve now. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to see Tom by my wife, who had already been treated by him. At first, I just went along for the “crack,” but after my very first session—with plenty of those satisfying cracks—I felt amazing. I booked a course of four weekly treatments, and after just a couple of weeks I felt even better, with all those little old aches and pains gone. Now I see Tom monthly (alongside my wife) to keep everything in check. He’s got fantastic knowledge, effortless technique, and always brings good chat too. Fantastic experience: A few months ago, I started experiencing severe pain in my shoulder and down my left arm. After visiting my doctor, I was told it was frozen shoulder. Over the next six weeks—and two more appointments—the pain became unbearable. I was taking up to 14 painkillers a day, spending a fortune on prescriptions, and still feeling so unwell that it made me physically sick. Even simple tasks at work became impossible. That’s when I decided to see a chiropractor, and along came Tom—like a knight in shining armour. From my very first consultation, he identified the real issue: a damaged disc in my neck. With just one session and a few expert adjustments, I went from 14 painkillers a day to just 2 in a week. Tom recommended a five-week treatment plan, twice a week, and the results have been incredible. The pain has completely disappeared, I’ve regained full strength in my arm, and—much to my dismay—I can now do my job again . I now see Tom once a month for maintenance, and I haven’t had a single twinge of pain since. He has truly changed my life. Considering the state I was in, I honestly can’t recommend him enough. Fantastic experience: David has been amazing at getting my back and muscular issues sorted & his advise & tips for my strength training to resolve some of my issues has been invaluable... I've gone from monthly visits to once every 3 months for check & minor adjustments over last year or so... Highly recommend!! I have also been having Sports Massages by Harry over last several months. David advised will help loosen up back more & help with his adjustments. I was uncomfortable with idea at first as I generally not like having massages done. But Harry is so knowledgeable & professional & his cheery personality he put me at ease with having them done & i found out they not the " spa" kinda massage! They have made a massive difference & i look forward to having them done, even though it can get a bit uncomfortable, but the results speak for themselves!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Gloucester Chiropractors enough! Before I attended I was in agony most days and I had lost a lot of hope from trying a lot of other methods. I first came to Tom on the 19th November regarding my constant neck and shoulder tension resulting in awful migraines, often happening once a week and being bed bound. With the first session I felt such a difference! I am now on my 7th session and the results are amazing. He has relieved my tension in my upper body, rectified hip pain, minimised my frequency of migraines by a lot and given me more ability to move more freely and comfortably. It has honestly been a dream come true!

Fantastic experience: I have arthritis in my back which has made walking and standing very difficult. A few months ago I decided I needed to seek help as it was getting worse, my back was so stiff and I was in pain all the time unless sitting. My husband was contemplating buying me a mobility scooter as my mobility was so poor. It also was affecting my mental health as I always had been a 'walker' and could only walk about 10 paces before having to sit. The Chiropractors opened at Brockworth and I got an appointment with Tom Cairns. After just one treatment I noticed the difference, not perfect but less pain. I have been having treatment for several months now with intense treatment twice a week to start, it has now decreased to once a month as the problem will never go away. My back is still a little stiff but a few weeks ago I actually managed to walk about 3 miles across sand dunes (with many stops) to get to somewhere I really wanted to see again. I was so pleased and Tom has not only helped my physical health, he has also helped my mental health. Yes, the treatment is a little expensive but so much cheaper than a mobility scooter!!

Fantastic experience: Really recommend for pregnancy related pubic symphysis / pelvic girdle type pains!! I saw Dr Beth Rawlins for my severe pelvic girdle pain while 35 weeks pregnant as she is recommended via the Pelvic Partnership. I was in so much pain that left me on crutches and unable to walk. Beth provided an appointment under very short notice and had me back on my feet after my first session, it was such a relief! She saw me until the week I went into labour. I was able to still have an intervention free home birth, which was incredible as this would not of been possible without Beth’s treatment as NHS physios wouldn’t help at that point in pregnancy. I continue to go post partum for pelvic pain and this treatment 1ce a month is healing me so well. I am able to exercise and live normally again! Big thank you to Beth

Fantastic experience: After developing a sudden back issue I was able to get an appointment very quickly to see David at Gloucester Chiropractors. The lady I spoke to on the phone was lovely. I had a very informative consultation followed by the start of my treatment in the same session which offered almost immediate relief, it put my mind at ease being informed I could be repaired and hadn’t caused a permanent issue. David’s kind manner and knowledge in his profession have further helped me at my other appointments as he has been able to explain exactly what I’ve done, how he can help and how I can help myself in the long term. Fantastic experience: Fantastic little company that really cares about your well-being. I was paying £120 per 30 minutes session at an alternative company that wasn’t as interested in my well-being. I was given generic information which wasn’t tailored to my lifestyle. Beth who I saw for my first appointment was full of information and ideas for my sciatica or what I thought was sciatica. Turns out it was something else. Which no one told me before. I was put at ease and treated straight away. With the effort given to me on my first appointment I will be continuing my appointments.
