I have been attending HCC on and off since 2017 and the service I have received is exceptional. Fantastic experience: I now call Ryan ‘Dr Magic’ My name is Kim and i went to Ryan to see if he could help me with my shoulder pain, as i heard from others how good he was. I couldn’t lift my left arm or move it without pain. I found it extremely difficult to change gear's in my car, lifting up my hand break was very painful or even putting my indercaters on. Fantastic experience: I have been a regular at HCC for over 8 years. I’ve a known condition that I had suffered with for 25+ years but I went to HCC following a very painful trigger in my lower back. I was assessed and treated within days which got me fully mobile. Follow up treatment then alleviated and resolved the pain and a maintenance program was suggested to ensure my permanent condition was managed. It’s the best “membership” I pay and I have had fewer issues all round due to support and realignment when a twinge has been noted through sport or spending excessive hours sat at the office desk. I was definitely a “put up with it and allow it to get worse before seeing a professional” before and this just compound the problem and became a false economy. Sarah, Mark, Claire and the whole team are amazing and I will continue to visit regularly. Highly recommend HCC.

I then decided to go see Ryan at Headingley Chiropractic Clinic, he did a thorough exam on the problem areas I was having on the first session. Fantastic experience: Mark is great!! He's not only excellent at what he does but he's also a thoroughly good person. He's friendly, approachable, listens very carefully, professional, genuinely cares about his patients and I always know I'm in completely safe hands. Some people think that chiropractors means clicking and cracking but the first time I met Mark I asked him was it possible to fix my back without the cracking and he was happy to go with what I felt I needed whilst magically fixing me. ..... And when I was fixed .... Wow!! I realise that until I met Mark that I had been putting up with pain for years without knowing. I thought that's just how it was, it was my normal and i just got on with things. After seeing Mark I felt so much lighter and brighter It's been 20 years since I first saw Mark and during that time I've lived abroad for many years but what a relief to be living back in the area when my back went recently. After over 20 years of having back pain, shoulder pain, at 51 years old I really had accepted the fact that I would just have to live with it for the rest of my life. How wrong was I??!! From the first time I walked in. The whole team were just lovely. I met Oliver, who did my initial consultations and said he could help, my spine being “locked”. Sceptical at first, I decided to give it a shot. I’ve just returned home from my first actual session and I am completely in awe!! Fantastic experience: I sought medical help for a dislocated clavicle from a variety of disciplines, none of which helped. I decided to see a chiropractor who helped me from day one! I couldn’t have been more delighted. Ryan was clear about what he saw happening with me, clear about what treatment he was going to give me, and clear about what I could do for myself. Not only has my clavicle returned to practically normal, Ryan has strengthen my hips which was a problem I’d been living with for years. I believe Ryan has a gift. Fantastic experience: After suffering with a bad back for many years, I made an appointment with Ryan at Headingley Chiropractic clinic. Both Ryan and the staff at the clinic are very welcoming and polite. After a couple of appointments with Ryan, I began to notice a change, I was able to walk without pain. I have had about 10 appointments and because of Ryan and his amazing work, I have been able to walk 100 miles in one month and overtime I lost 3 stone in weight. Fantastic experience: Mark Butterworth is a highly experienced chiropractor. I used to suffer from back pain whenever I drove for more than half an hour. After 6 to 8 sessions with Mark, the pain was completely gone. I was even able to drive for more than 8 hours to Europe without any discomfort. I am very pleased with his specialised treatment. Although his services are costly, they are worth it. I had poor experiences with other chiropractors before, but Mark is on a completely different level. He’s like a magician.

Fantastic experience: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Experience! I was struggling with hip and back pain to the point where I had to stop running. It was frustrating, especially since I couldn’t finish a run. After seeing a physiotherapist and started doing specific exercises, I felt some improvement, but something was still missing to fully get back on track. Then, while scrolling Instagram, I found a promo for this clinic and this is how I met Ryan. I’ve had chiropractic treatments before, but honestly, I wasn’t convinced to try it again. Still, feeling such discomfort and frustration every day pushed me to give it a go. Ryan is a well-prepared chiropractor, and I was impressed by how effective the treatments were without needing extreme techniques (like you can see on YouTube). As a student, affordability is always a concern, but the clinic offers student support, and the entire staff creates such a welcoming environment. I’m so happy that I did my best effort to put the effort and discipline to attend a couple of sessions (today was my 4th!) and follow Ryan’s advice. He worked alongside the physio plan, and this boosted my progress. Now, I feel great and running again! Just three days ago I completed a 10k! I’m confident that I’ll soon hit my 21k goal. But this time, I’m better prepared, because I’ve learned so much during this challenging chapter, and I’m taking better care of my body. All thanks to Ryan, the clinic team, and the NHS physio! Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Headingley Chiropractic (Ryan Goodridge) - Been going since January 2024 with problematic shoulder and back. Ryan was very professional and thorough, keeping me informed of what treatment I would be having and also giving me exercise to do. After every session I felt myself getting better and better. I now go to a session every 8 weeks or so for an adjustment, which I will continue to do. Fantastic experience: After suffering from back pain for years it got to the point where I was waking up at 4am in agony and unable to sleep. I could not relax on the sofa without pain and my passion for walking was becoming problematic. I was recommended Ryan at Headingly Chiropractor and the difference is unbelievable. I cannot believe that I could ever function without constant back pain but Ryan has changed all that by adjusting my back and hips. He was able to see that an injury in 2004 was not treated properly and that it had also effected my hips which had lead to other issues. I still go back for regular adjustments because of the work I do and look forward to the treatment and the friendly chats with Ryan. 10/10 for service and effectiveness of the treatment.

Fantastic experience: I started sessions with Ryan in April as a last resort for my migraines. Now, in July, I am thrilled to share that I have been migraine-free for a month! Given my history of constant migraines, this result is nothing short of miraculous. This has truly transformed my life. If anyone suffers from migraines, I would definitely recommend your services.

Negative experience: The deal was £40 down from £70, when I got there I was told there was going to be no adjustments then when I said I’d leave he adjusted me. Definitely not worth the money. It would be more beneficial getting a sports massage instead. He then walked me to the reception to get me to book again. He said there’s no such thing as bad posture. Really unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Mark at the Headingly chiropractor clinic has been amazing. He took the time to listen to me and understood my issues with a trapped nerve in my neck and shoulder area when I had my assessment at the clinic. When I started my treatment he quickly realised his initial approach wasn’t right for my needs so he changed it to suit me! After 5 sessions I have seen a drastic improvement in both the pain I have been suffering with and my movements! I couldn’t recommend Mark & his team enough (both Penny and Caroline the receptionists are so lovely too & always willing to assist!) Fantastic experience: I was nervous about making an appointment with a chiropractor, as I have hypermobility. However, I'm so glad that I took the plunge. I cannot recommend Ryan Goodridge highly enough. He spent a substantial amount of time in assessing me (I have several musculoskeletal issues), and worked out a treatment plan for me. I am now over half way through this, and my improvement has been marked. I have noted a massive reduction in pain, and substantial improvement in walking, bending and general mobility. All round, this has been worth every penny. If you are nervous about starting a course of chiropractic treatment, dont be. The clinic is very friendly, easy to access, including parking, and I have been really impressed with the treatment I have had with Ryan. What was I worried about!?

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Ryan at HCC for an ongoing issue with my back, and I saw the effects of his treatment immediately. We were quickly able to drop down to check-up appointments every couple of months, which I was really pleased by. Fantastic experience: I have taken 6 months after my treatment from Mark Butterworth to write this review . I am a doctor and self referred to Mark as the last resort. I had incapacitating back and leg pain and tried all the usual NHS treatments steroid injection / MSK treatment and nothing worked . I decided to try chiropractic as a last desperate attempt. Did my research and saw reviews for Mark Butterworth. I can honestly say it was the most transformative and life affirming decision . I underwent a treatment cycle with Mark and the treatment worked . I waited 6 months to write the review to ensure that the results were long term.No back pain no leg pain my posture has dramatically improved. I write this review both as a doctor and patient. Please give this wonderful chiropractor a try. He has been phenomenal.and incredible.in my case. He is an expert with 20 years experience and I am so glad I chose him.

Fantastic experience: Seen Ryan at the clinic after experiencing lower back pain for years. Ryan helped over sessions with shin splints that had stopped me exercising, remaining nerve/muscle damage from bulging discs and completely healed my lower back pain. Fantastic experience: I've had upper back and shoulder pain pretty much my entire adult life, and this year decided to do something about it. To say these guys are miracle workers is a bit of an understatement! Mark seems to know more about the pain and tightness in my body more than I do. I went with bad pain in two areas of my body, and we did regular work which means these are now so much better. He gave excellent exercises and tips which will allow me to continue to progress without the need for regular appointments. Mark is excellent at his job, both professional and warm. Fantastic experience: From an accident 2 years ago, I’ve struggled continuously with lower back pain and pins and needles. After one session with Ryan he identified the issue, and within 2 months I was pain free. I’m now able to be back playing sport and exercising regularly. Fantastic experience: I’ve been using HCC for about the last 9 months, mainly just maintenance for the incredible work that was done in the first few sessions. The chiropractor who worked on me was Ryan Goodridge, he explained in the first assessment the issues I was having, and how exactly it would be solved. A bit of background, I’m a tall guy (over 6’5”) and so as I grew I was a typical slouch (not great for the back!) after a few sessions family and friends were all commenting on how much taller I looked, and I couldn’t really disagree with them, my posture was improved no end, and to be pain free for the first time in 15 years was certainly worth the price! Overall: definitely worth it, if you’re sceptical about chiropractors then just go have an assessment and give them a chance, I would never hesitate to revisit them if the need arose

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough. After struggling with severe knee pain for several years, a few months in his care has seen a dramatic change in my mobility. Fantastic experience: This is my first time seeing a chiropractor. I have 2 slipped discs in my lower back and this occasionally flares severe sciatica up to my neck and down my legs. The pain is terrible and takes weeks to recover. Seeing a chiropractor has helped me get back to work and normal activity. Ryan is very friendly and knowledgeable. He's done a mix of targeted deep tissue massage and adjustments and I've noticed such an improvement. Everything is explained really well and I've been given stretches and exercises to work on at home. The frequency of treatments are tailored, with several in the first couple of weeks, extending out to regular maintenance appointments. The receptionist team are also very welcoming. I'd really recommend this practice!

I was initially hesitant about chiro as I’d previously seen doctors and physiotherapists for my back pain- to no avail. I come to see Mark Butterworth in end of May after being in pain for months, I couldn’t sleep even with the painkillers. After thorough and professional assessment Mark prescribed a treatment which I attended twice a week now reduced to once a week. I had problem with my low back and pain was going down to the left leg, also few more problems were found during assessment. After 1 month of treatments with Mark, all pain is gone. Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished treatment with Ryan for issues with neck, shoulders, lower back and hamstrings. I’ve struggled with pain/stiffness for about 10 years that has gradually gotten worse after lockdown and issues with mental health affecting my overall mobility. After 3 months my pain is completely gone and the stiffness has reduced all over with just a bit of work left on my hamstrings that he gave me exercises to treat at home. The team here are so friendly and put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door that continues throughout the clinic. I can’t recommend Ryan enough, always friendly and attentive to however he can help and talks you through what he’s doing and why. There are different options for payments such as bulk buying with discount, student discount and pay per appointment. Fantastic experience: After suffering with severe headaches and terrible sleep patterns for over 2 years, I made an appointment with Mark at Headingley Chiropractic Clinic. The Clinic and Mark are very welcoming and after just one treatment I had a noticeable improvement. I had hoped for the best but this was better than I could have wished for. Now with just 3 treatments the headaches are gone and my sleep is the best it has been in many years. I will be maintaining a regular appointment with Mark in the future. Fantastic experience: Mark is the first professional to have really listened and understood the issue with my painful and slightly protruding shoulder blade. As a result he has stopped my pain through a mixture of massage and self-managed stretches and exercises over the course of about 15 sessions. I am much happier now with how my shoulder feels and looks, and have coping strategies for if the pain or stress in my shoulder does return. She gives wonderful explanations based on her initial assessment and useful advice for coping and healing at home. Her treatments have got me through some really bad patches with my lower back.
