I had back pain for decades and would often wake up not being able to stand up straight! But after a few months of adjustments my back pain has reduced and I can stand straight in the morning

3 months ago Fantastic experience: A very professional set-up; in the initial consultation, Jeff spent time to understand the back issues and conduct a thorough physical examination of my back. This was followed up by a detailed plan of treatment. The app provides regular reminders of appointments and also details of the exercises that can be carried out which is very helpful. Laura and Annie provide a positive welcome when you arrive and take you through the various exercises to ensure that your technique is correct and also regular posture analysis to check your progress. All in all, a very positive experience; I definitely have more flexibility in my back, thank you!

3 months ago Fantastic experience: I have been going to The Spine Guy for around 10 months and have seen a vast improvement in persistent tension headaches and upper back and shoulder pain - nothing before had worked to keep the pain at bay long term, but they are so much better now. Jeff has also been able to improve lower back pain I've experienced. It has made me much more aware of my health holistically and how I can take care of it through the regular exercises provided to help build strength and balance. 3 months ago Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend The Spine Guy Jeff highly enough. He has helped my back pain and rib pain massively, and just as importantly, he’s helped me understand my body better — how different areas affect each other and how simple exercises can make such a huge difference in relieving pain and discomfort. He’s also helped hugely with the anxiety I had due to the chest pains I was experiencing. By clearly explaining what was causing the pain and why it was happening, he put my mind at ease — and most importantly, he delivered real results. The difference I feel now since I started is incredible and I’m more conscious about my posture and different factors that could contribute to any niggles and discomfort I get which soon clear after completing the exercises I’ve been given. He’s even worked his magic with my migraines! During one of our chats while having a correction, he mentioned he could help with them, as I had suffered with one for 2 or 3 days and nothing was working. I was genuinely amazed by the results even that evening it was noticeable better. The whole practice truly feels like a family. From my very first visit, everyone has been so friendly, welcoming, and made me feel completely comfortable. I even come to my appointments a little earlier just to catch up with the lovely ladies — that’s how warm and welcoming the atmosphere is. I genuinely look forward to my appointments, which is something I never thought I’d say about treatment for pain. 4 months ago Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Jeff’s for many years and couldn’t recommend him more to anybody who struggles with back pain, neck pain, migraines, joint pain etc. I originally came in with low back pain, pelvis out of alignment and shin splints; now i have none of those issues and my posture has improved dramatically. He made such an impact on my life as a young teenager that now i’m studying chiropractic at university and look up to him as a mentor. 4 months ago Fantastic experience: I have been receiving treatment from Jeff for many years, initially when he worked in Pudsey. My initial problem was when I had tingling in my hand and fingers due to disc problems in my neck. The treatment I received for that was successful and now I just visit for maintenance appointments which helps with my overall back/spinal health. 5 months ago Fantastic experience: Having seen Jeff and the team for several months now I can honestly say I feel my back problem is heading in the right direction . In the beginning I had an ongoing lower back condition that I felt was getting worse and seeing Jeff made me feel like for the first time in a long time someone actually listened . 5 months ago Fantastic experience: I started just over a month ago seeing Jeff at his practice. I decided to go with my Long Covid was going through a downward spiral and I was desperate to find some comfort. With the help of the friendly team I have gone from feeling almost bed bound to being able to enjoy some lovely walks around the parks. I have started to regain some of my life back. It has now been over a year of attending and Jeff has helped me regain some independence and able to get back to some normality. Highly recommend working with him and his team!

5 months ago Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful people here, always helpful and welcoming. I’ve had many aches, pains and problems over the years and then a particular bad injury. I have tried physiotherapy, osteopathy, sports massage, musculoskeletal therapy, non of which I felt were particularly useful or worth the cost. Someone recommended here and I have since recommended them to others. From the first time I stepped in I felt seen, heard and helped. Not only is it that any adjustment physically assists healing and over time helps to hinder any further issues of all kinds, but the information Jeff shares along the way, regarding lifestyle, posture, exercises, physical and mental health etc make so much sense! He doesn't drone on, his explanations are enlightening, fun, easy to remember and apply to real life. He has a wealth of useful knowledge and you can tell he really cares about his vocation. You get progress reports and measurements taken and tracked. I feel I really am investing in my health now and for the future and that they are invested right along with me! It still takes a bit of practise to change small things and create better habits for yourself, but this time things have stuck for me like never before! It actually does make a difference, who knew? 5 months ago Fantastic experience: I came to see Jeff over 10 months ago with severe back pain. Jeff not only helped relieve the pain but has also put a plan in place to prevent it from recurring. 5 months ago Fantastic experience: Started seeing Jeff with low back pain and with neck pain which made me uncomfortable turning my head left and right after some sessions with Jeff and his staff my neck eased to the point that I can turn without feeling pain and my lower back pain has become a lot less of a problem than it used to be. But like anything else I can upset the feeling by doing the wrong lifting or sitting down too long.

5 months ago Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Jeff's for many years and would recommend him to anyone. If you are suffering back pain, migraines or even stress, book yourself in. Jen has also joined the company as the in house sports masseuse. Since I've had treatments, she has worked wonders on my different aches and tight muscles. Together in 6 weeks, Jeff and Jen have helped me from being unable to walk a few steps without being in crippling pain to being able to skip to the gym. 5 months ago Fantastic experience: I can't recommend The Spine Guy highly enough!! In late March I hurt my back when lifting. I tried giving it rest, but it got progressively worse over 3 weeks during which time I was in significant pain, unable to sleep properly, or do more than gentle walking without discomfort and taking pain killers to manage the pain. On April 21st I went for my initial assessment followed by bi-weekly appointments. At this point even climbing the stairs, or getting in/out of my car was a challenge. To cut a long story short, within 3 weeks I was able to go on an exercise bike, within another 3 weeks I was able to go jogging again and within another 3 weeks I was back playing football! I still go once a month for maintenance, but am totally pain free and able to do any activities!!

6 months ago Fantastic experience: When I came to see Jeff I'd had upper back and neck problems for a while, compounded by frequent migraine headaches and poor range of motion in my neck. Having been fobbed off by GPs, I decided to explore chiropractic. The examination and posture assessment were thorough and really insightful, but I was initially quite nervous about having manipulations, especially as the neck and back pain seemed get worse for a while (this can be quite common). I nearly threw in the towel on a couple of occasions, but I’m grateful to Jeff for taking the time to listen to my concerns and adjusting his technique. A couple of months in, and I’m feeling stronger, more balanced, my posture has improved, but most importantly the headaches have completely resolved! I’ve found the integrated approach with postural education and exercise programme particularly beneficial. The healing process does take time but I would say, for anyone who may be nervous or sceptical of chiropractic, give the Spine Guy a try. The team also does amazing work to raise awareness in the community about spinal health. It’s something we rarely think about until things go wrong!

6 months ago Fantastic experience: I first went to see Jeff after hurting my back — I live in thailand and do Muay Thai (thai boxing) but was visiting the Uk , and the pain was so bad I couldn’t even train. Jeff worked his magic, and not only am I now completely out of pain, but my posture has massively improved, too. The exercises he gave me are now part of my warm-ups, and the advice on how to stop the pain coming back has been invaluable. The posture hacks on Instagram are brilliant as well — especially the one about how to sit properly on aeroplanes (lifesaver on long flights!). I’m now back in Thailand full time for work, but every time I’m back in the UK, a visit to The Spine Guy is a must. Thanks, Jeff!

After a year of regular treatment I am now pain free, something I never thought would be possible. The treatment plans work and are easy to follow. 8 months ago Fantastic experience: I have suffered with degenerative arthritic pain throughout my body, which led to damaging my posture, my spine alignment, and my joints. When i first came to Jeff and Laura at the Spine guy I was struggling to bend down , walk or do any physical tasks because my back and my knees were always so painful and enflammed. Overall, I was struggling every day to functioned properly, but since I have been seeing Jeff at The Spine Guy, I have not only regained a lot of flexibility, my posture and my spine alignment are so much better. I can now bend down and do daily tasks without being in excruciating pain. From day one, I have felt welcomed, listened to, and treated with so much respect, and the treatment I have received from Jeff and the team has been outstanding. I had hip, knee and shoulder issues that was stopping me in my sport and everyday life. 8 months ago Fantastic experience: We were delighted to have Jeff, The Spine Guy, join us at our WI Scarcroft meeting on 10th July to give a talk all about posture and spinal health. We had around 40 members attend, and everyone found the information really interesting, informative and easy to follow. Many of us hadn’t really appreciated just how important posture is to our overall health and wellbeing, and Jeff explained it in such a clear and engaging way. The simple exercises, like practicing balancing every day, along with useful suggestions about things such as pillows and sitting, were really practical and easy to take away and use in our daily lives. Jeff made the session relaxed and enjoyable, and we particularly liked the audience participation – it really brought the talk to life. A few friends recommended Jeff the Spine Guy, and although I was nervous about seeing a chiropractor, I finally booked in—and I’m so glad I did. 10 months ago Fantastic experience: I started visiting Jeff about 6 weeks ago because I was experiencing severe headaches accompanied by dizziness. This had been going on for months and had affected all areas of my life. Jeff quickly diagnosed the problem, and after some adjustments and a course of exercises, my headaches and dizziness started to lessen. I’m still undergoing treatments, but I’m so pleased to report that I’m now having days when I feel completely normal – what a relief! The people who work with Jeff are amazing. 10 months ago Fantastic experience: My experience from the start has been amazing - from the very first phone call to the reception, I have been amazed. I have suffered with back issues for over 6 years. I have been through the NHS and seen other chiropractors with no significant results until I found The Spine Guy, and during my consultation with Jeff, I knew things we're about to change. He sent me for an x-ray the same day, and I was back for treatment a week later. I had immediate pain relief after the first adjustment, and progress had just continued since. 11 months ago Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for all you do to free people from the suffering back pain brings into your life. Dealing with that level of pain on a daily basis changes the dynamics of your life. You wonder if you will ever feel yourself again. You try various things and nothing seems to work and you get to a level of acceptance that the pain will always be there. Then you find a place that changes everything ! By luck I was recommended by a friend who was also suffering with back problems. I had tried other places without success. Some had even made it worse. My friend was very confident I should give it a try. I can very happily say that I am now completely pain free !!! Before I started with them I was in near constant pain, I wasn’t able to do the things I wanted, and I could only see it getting worse. I hadn’t got any relief through my doctor and I was honestly desperate. Jeff managed to tell me what the problem was, give me adjustments that made me feel immediately better, and show me a course of accessible and realistic exercises that have helped me enormously. Only 7 weeks ago I went for the initial assessment & first adjustment & I feel so much better & more aligned. The constant pain I had in my shoulders has gone and it's significantly reduced in my neck & lower back. The care and attention to detail taken by all staff is incredible. 11 months ago Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Jeff since 2020 when I hurt my shoulder blade. Before that I’d been having sports massages that never seemed to fully help and my pain was persistent. Since my first 3 appointments my neck and shoulder problems have almost gone completely. Jeff has also helped me with my posture, ensuring I walk in the right way which has eased pain in my knees that had been developing over time. And ladies, he’s even reduced my menstrual symptoms!!! 1 year ago Fantastic experience: I had tried various osteopaths and chiropractors for the last 10 years, suffering with tons of back pain due to my scoliosis and poor posture. Do not bother going anywhere else other than The Spine Guy, Jeff and his team have helped me reduce my pain significantly, and have given me exercises so I can stay pain free in the long term, whilst also improving my posture. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: The whole team at the Spine Guy really care for their patients. They are kind caring and very welcoming. Well what can I say about Jeff? The man has magic in his hands! I've been kept mobile by Jeff for more years than I care to remember. I had back issues during my pregnancies and a career in primary/early years teaching did not help. Jeff has always been patient and professional. It's not always easy to describe your pain or pinpoint where it is coming from. Jeff always listens and can find the issue. Following the daily exercises and stretching routines are the perfect compliment to regular treatment. If you are not sure if you need a chiropractor, you probably do and Jeff is the best!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Jeff at The Spine Guy since November. Before I started I always had pain in my neck, arms,, lower back and legs. I was always in pain and couldn't have a full night"s sleep, tossing and turning. I can't believe the changes the treatment has made, I can have a good walk without pain or any stiffness in my legs. I now attend a couple of classes a week at the gym and it makes me happier that I can exercise again without any pain. A wonderful practice with lovely staff. I first started going with shoulder, middle back and lower back problems which Jeff managed to sort out for me. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: The staff at the Spine Guy are both caring and supportive. They have an app that helps you with the exercises you need. The app and the exercises are fully explained and demonstrated at your appointments if required to aid your recovery. I first attended due to lower back issues whilst training for a half marathon. Jeff provided treatment in a short period of time to relieve the pain and then provided a plan of action for full recovery. I now go once a month and the support is still the same as at the beginning. All round the staff are all very friendly and are genuinely concerned about your recovery. I would highly recommend the Spine Guy to anyone who is having issues.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: There is a well known story, which I will add to the end of this review, that sums up The Spine Guy perfectly. If you're after a regular massage in the hope it will solve your pain, don't come here. If you're after one hour sessions, don't come here. But if you want educating in correct posture to give you permanent improvement and a really friendly welcome from Laura and all the staff, then this is the place for you. The sessions are really short and you would be forgiven in thinking this is bad value for money. Just a few taps here and there and sometimes a couple of stretches. Sometimes the appointments are as short as 5 minutes. But... OK - time for the story. A giant ship’s engine failed. The ship’s owners tried one ‘professional’ after another but none of them could figure out how to fix the broken engine. Then they brought in a man who had been fixing ships since he was young. He carried a large bag of tools with him and when he arrived immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom. Two of the ship’s owners were there watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away and the engine was fixed!!! A week later, the owners received an invoice from the old man for $10,000. What?! the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything..!!!”. So they wrote to the man; “Please send us an itemised invoice.” The man sent an invoice that read: Tapping with a hammer………………….. $2.00 Knowing where to tap…………………….. $9,998.00 Effort is important but experience and knowing where to direct that effort makes all the difference. So that's why The Spine Guy (you can call him Jeff) is worth his Aussie $ and gets my 5* review. He'll put you on the right road to get you sorted out and then travel the road with you. Oh, and buy one of his pillows too - I don't wake up with neck ache any more.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I have been going to The Spine Guy for just over a month now getting adjustments twice a week. My life has dramatically changed for the better. I used to wake up and be almost in tears when I had to get up out of bed, I slept sitting upright to stop the heart wrenching pain. I couldn't bend down, couldn't play with my son on the floor, struggled to walk at the park just to name a few things. My life was very limited and I was on pain killers every day to my maximum most of the time. Well the change over the first couple of weeks was so big I wondered why I hadn't tried this before. I can sleep correctly and not be in agony. I can play all day long, and the first time I hopped without any pain, was life changing (crying in the park I don't suggest). I now use NO pain killers unless it's been a big day and I may have over done it. I spoke with Jeff about the women's monthly visitor, as this causes a lot of pain for me too, and I can honestly say this was the first time I've had a visit and not needed to take pain killers. I can't believe how much pain I've just been dealing with, when I now feel that I didn't have to. I never thought I'd be able to be pain free and even though I have a way to go I have pain free days and that's a lot for someone who is chronically in pain. Please if you are even slightly thinking about it you need to give yourself the chance. Back pain shouldn't be normal. The Spine guy is amazing as are his crew. Thank you!!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Have been with this clinic for a couple years now and definitely feel the benefits of the work they tailor to you and your body. I came from developing nerve damage in my neck and upper spine and having multiple appointments a week to now only 1 visit every 4 weeks, my posture is a lot better and my muscles have strengthened to better support my neck/spine due to there exercise and stretch routines and highly skilled re-adjustments, Jeff and the team are incredibly kind, chatty and welcoming making you feel relaxed and enjoy the time spent there. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to come across The Spine Guy team on an wellness event last year that I attended and arranged to visit their clinic for a consultation. This was very thorough and following this I had a plan put together for me to follow for 12 weeks including regular visits to the studio plus exercises to complete at home. I'm now coming to the end of my plan and must say my back is in the best shape it's been for many years and after many issues from rugby and weight training over the years. However, Jeff is a brilliant, intuitive and knowledgeable practitioner who uses the latest techniques suited to the individual. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: It’s been a really positive experience in my treatment journey with Jeff and his team. Everyone is always friendly, and very supportive. I’ve had issues with my neck and back for decades, which has led me to the doors of 3 other chiropractors before Jeff. The big differences this time is that the operation is bigger (treatment areas, exercising zone, consultation rooms, and a reception area), and there has been more emphasis on me helping myself, post-treatment – ie. posture exercises/stretching etc. Jeff produces the magic in the treatment room, but there is a push for me to aid my own rehabilitation in the long-term. It’s made all the difference! I’ve been really impressed by the support that the team have provided, in particular Laura, since I started with them in September. I had a prolonged sickness in late ’24, which meant that I couldn’t attend quite a few appointments. There was no pressure from the team around my missed slots, they were just very accommodating during my illness. I highly recommend the Spine Guy. The treatment and care are second to none. Jeff has such a great intuition around spinal problems, which is very reassuring. I’m so glad I spotted the street sign, and decided to call!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Went with back and neck pain to see if there was anything that could be done about it. After the initial consultation and assessment of the issues I decided to give the course of treatment a go. I have been extremely happy with the results of the treatment and my back pain has reduced ten folds. The main goal was to improve my manoeuvre ability, as I play a lot of golf, which has definitely improved. I would highly recommend attending a consultation if you have any amount of pain or discomfort.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Jeff for a few years now. The first time I went to him I could hardly walk but after a session I could almost touch my toes! Since then I have seen him on a regular basis and I am now able to exercise and go on long walks. The new practice is very modern and all the team are wonderful. They always greet me with a smile and we have a friendly chat. As well as having monthly back adjustments Jeff and his team provide invaluable tips and exercises that have strengthened my back and improved my posture. The practice also monitors progress through periodic reviews which are fed back. At my last review Laura noticed a slight imbalance in my posture shown on the scales. I was then measured again after my readjustment and the imbalance had been corrected. The whole team provide a wonderful service and I highly recommend them to anyone as they provide a program to improve your posture and as a consequence your lifestyle. I would like to thank this wonderful team of professionals.
