Fantastic experience: Been going for a couple months now, coming in regularly 3 days a week and now 2 days a week. Some people might see it as an expense but it does work when you come in regularly. I had back pain that was causing me to limp and the regular sessions have helped a lot. Not a cure all but fixing posture can help reduce pain a lot and it has helped me in that regard.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic set of people working there, really welcoming and a great atmosphere whenever I am there. Great little touches like coffee/wellness stand. Also good to have something interesting to listen to in terms of background music rather than the typical mediocre "whale song" noises you can get in some places. Honestly my back has never felt better and neither have I in terms of the mobility I have gained back. (Also the dog is probably the best member of staff.. the others pretty good too)

Fantastic experience: These guys will always have your back! I have recently returned to this practise after falling out of my habit due to work and travel commitment which led to me undoing all the good work they had done and being in agony since may this year I can now say I’m getting back to normal and Duncan and the team will have me back in the gym in no time! Fantastic experience: I have suffered with lower back pain for over 40 years, starting in my yearly 20s whilst playing rugby. I have seen several doctors and numerous chiropractors over the years but with limited and short-lived success. Then while living in Spain, in 2023 I happened to come across an Irish chiropractor that had a clinic in Marbella. He had completely different approach to the profession, one that was extremely enlightening as to the profound effects of spinal subluxation had on one’s entire body. The treatment was certainly rewarding, both for my wife and me. It also became evident that adjustments to one’s spine/posture is not something that can be achieved in one or two visits, but after an initial programme, it subsequently requires regular maintenance to correct the effects of daily life and the demands made on our bodies. Worth noting is that unlike my previous appointments with chiropractors, lasting anything up to 40min or so, these regular adjustments take only 5-10min! Then in November 2024 my wife and I moved to the UK, but were somewhat apprehensive of finding a chiropractor that had a similar approach to treating its clients. Fortunately, the chiropractor in question was able to recommend Chiropractic First – hence our introduction to Duncan and his team in Leeds The initial consultation and investigation was very similar to what we had in Spain, but better! An extensive analysis of one’s posture is undertaken, and now they even have their own X-ray machine at the clinic. Hence Duncan can fully evaluate the cause and effect that is giving you the pain; in my case Scoliosis and subluxation of my neck. We have now been seeing Duncan on a regular basis for about 11 months and are happy with the progress we are making. Duncan and his team are great, professional, accommodating, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The only downside is the fact that Chiropractic First is a global company originating in the Far East, where I assume the governance also determines the fees !

Fantastic experience: I first came to CF about 3 years ago & was treated initially by Dr Mike before transferring to Dr Duncan. The initial consultation was extremely thorough & I also had X-rays which diagnosed my problems really easily. Both Mike & Duncan are fantastic practitioners & have both been sounding boards & therapists at times. They have also both given excellent health advise at times when I’ve had other health issues which was greatly received. My life has changed completely since I found chiropractic first, so much so that I have got my husband hooked too. We really look forward to our adjustments & feel so much better after them & hopefully now my husband won’t need his hip replacement surgery Anyone toying with the idea of getting chiropractic treatment with Duncan please do it! It’s not a quick fix by any means & you have to put the work in too but it’s SO worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving treatment at chiropractic first in Leeds for 5 years now. I first visited when I was experiencing severe neck pain. The pain would flare up several times throughout the year and last for weeks at a time, I also began to have pain in my knee and ankles (all linked, I think to my poor posture and degeneration in spine) From day 1 the experience has been great and the improvement in my overall health and wellbeing has been amazing, i occasionally get some pain in my neck (no one ever claims you will be pain free forever) but the difference is in the time i now take to heal, prior to visiting the chiropractor i could be in pain for weeks at a time but now its literally a few days, my body just recovers so much quicker now. I’ve seen great results with my posture and movement and a massive improvement in the pain I used to suffer. If anything does flare up I know my weekly adjustment will sort it out! I started with treatment 3 times per week but quite quickly that reduced to twice a week and soon after to the maintenance programme which is once a week. It’s a great practice, all of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and approachable.

Fantastic experience: I initially came to the clinic with upper back pain and limited mobility. I saw Dr. mike & Dr. Morris, both Chiropractors gave me intensive treatments at first and I started to notice a real difference after a few weeks. I went from being in pain every morning and not being able to get on with my day ,having sleeping difficulties and inflammation in my upper back, to being able to train in the gym 3+ times per week, improved sleep and energy all day long! Dr. Duncan is now treating me and keeping me mobile, flexible and pain-free 4 years later!

Tried searching Dr Duncan on the GCC register but could not find I have tried emailing you twice and whatsapp messaging you with no response unfortunately

Fantastic experience: Back in September 2022 I was suffering with really bad lower back pain. Had been doing some physio exercises but nothing helped so I booked an appointment with Dr Mike Bates in Leeds. Best decision I ever made. After intitial consultation and a couple of x-rays I returned a few days later to find that I had a trapped nerve due to my bottom disc being out of place causing the 2 above to be working overtime to compensate which also meant, as Dr Mike explained, that there would be problems in the centre of my spine and also in my neck. I was walking with a limp when I arrived but after my first adjustment I couldn't believe it, I walked out without limping and thanks to the 3 visits a week for the first couple of months, the limp has not returned. I had more energy, slept longer, enjoyed a lay in when I wasn't working and just generally felt good within myself. I'm still undergoing treatment, albeit minor adjustments, but even when I finish I will still get checked and adjusted every few months. Negative experience: they offered us the free Posture check after they offered 2 sessions for us at a 50% discount for consulting and make us pay but when we went for consulting appointment they said we need to pay additional GBP85 for the scan without that they can't proceed and can't offer any advise/ posture correction consultation if that was the case that without scan they can provide then they should have mentioned that at 1st when they offer 2 sessions but they clearly didn't and want to to pay without let us know full process

Negative experience: Scam avoid. The chiropractor wanted me to go for adjustments 3x weekly for a year in order to fix my alignment that was skewed slighly to the left, This could have cost be 3k if i went with it. It took me going to other chiropractors and Physiotherapists to find out that this type of practise is frowned upon. I'm sorry to anyone who has agreed to such a spend.

Fantastic experience: Reception staff always pleasant and friendly with everyone who comes in. Mike and Morris (chiropractors) are fantastic- they really listen and will consultant with each other regarding patients in case they have different opinions or techniques to use. I initially went for migraines and they have helped myself loads and my posture too. Fantastic experience: In 2016 I put my back out from simply sneezing as a reuslt of an old injury and was off my feet for around 2 weeks. My parents took me to see Dr Mike Bates, who they also visited to help their back issues. I have to admit I was skeptical at first as I had never visited a chiropractor, however straight away Mike made me feel at ease and was able to pin point the problem. After a few sessions I was back up on my feet unassisted and was on my journey to recovery. Dr Mike not only got me back on my feet but also helped me maintain movement and strengthen my back and also aligned my posture. I highly recommend Dr Mike if you are having back problems, I never looked back after my experience.

Over the past two years I have suffered from excruciating pain mainly in my pelvis and shoulder area after problems during my pregnancy- something that at times crippled me to the point I couldn’t drive to and back from work, sit on the floor to play with my child or be able to pick him up due to the immense pain I was in. After a phone call with the clinic I got an appointment the same day for a consultation .Dr Michael help me a lot with advices and after some appointments I feel much better . Negative experience: I was refused treatment, not told why, other than they couldn't help me. Had to frantically ring round to try get an appointment elsewhere. The reception staff were great. But the chiropractor made me waste a 2 and a half hour round trip. I had 2 adjustments at another practice and my back is much better. I would avoid these guys, no parking and they are clearly time wasters.

Fantastic experience: I instantly felt happier!! Applying chiropractic care in my lifestyle has made me feel so much more confident and stress free. At first I was very nervous for my first adjustment, after going through my consolation with the Dr. It came to his attention that I had scoliosis- with having an X-ray on site was really exiting to see and experience. Having heard scoliosis can be treated by a chiropractor, without any medication; I was very for a natural approach! I can’t wait to see the improvements later down the line and surf again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have had really bad neck and back pain for years now almost 8 years and was exceeding to sciatica pain too. The doctors had advised me to learn to manage it as they couldn’t help till one day I saw chiropractic first advertisement on insta and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did, from the first time I attended and met Michael - my chiro practitioner, I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He explained everything in great detail and put a treatment plan together. I’ve now been attending for 3 months and I’m already feeling much better. I have not had sciatica pain at all since I’ve started my treatment. I could never have imagined the pain I was living with for years could actually be fixed till now. Negative experience: Not interested in any of your problems, they’ll try to get you to sign up to a years worth of chiropractic sessions straight away and scare you into thinking of you don’t your spine will deteriorate. I paid for an X-ray as recommended by the chiropractor in my first session however once I made it clear that I wasn’t signing up to more sessions they started ignoring my emails where I asked for a copy of the X-ray which I’ve paid for so legally they should give me copies.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend CF enough! I first went to them experiencing really bad back and neck pain just under a year ago. They've helped me so much and I can't believe how much I've improved since then. And the staff are all super friendly and helpful!!

Negative experience: Too much of a sales pitch, I don't know how people get fooled into it. I was pressurised into entering a plan of attending three times a week and I've honestly not got any severe problems. I only went as I get to expense it at work. The people are lovely, but its all very rehersed. Gone to see a better local chiropractor who agrees that CF give chiropractors a bad name.

Negative experience: Complete and utter rip off. Not only are there tonnes of hidden costs, but they offer a 'one size fits' all service which is not right. Every single patient is asked to visit 3 times per week - whatever your condition - whether minor or serious - you've got to attend 3 times a week which makes no sense at all.

Fantastic experience: Top class practice that I'd recommend to anyone: saw Mike to help me with a wrist injury - all the staff were friendly, lots of practices in place for covid and the treatment was perfect. It's well worth the money!

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Micheal for almost a year now and have had massive improvements in my back and posture. I used to finish football training and have numbness in my legs due to a displacement in my spine...which was quite an inconvenience to say the least!! They're super friendly and will fit you in even if you have a hectic schedule.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered with back and neck pain/ ache for years. I had never really been concerned about it and just assumed that it was normal. About a year ago I developed constant migraine along with the pain in my neck and back getting worse as migraine was limiting my usual exercise routines. It got to a point that I was noticeably struggling with everyday tasks and even sleeping . I decided to throw everything at finding a solution and had more doctors and hospital appointments over a period of months than i can remember. Over the last year i was just getting worse and told to try exercise and use medication to relieve pain. Although I am still awaiting further appointments I hadn’t got any further with feeling any better and was prepared to try anything at this point as it was now making me quite depressed. A family friend mentioned she had been seeing a Chiropractor which had been really helping her with back pain. I Immediately made a appointment and had a consultation with Michael ( The chiropractor ) Michael explained to me the possible causes of why i might be experiencing the pains i have had for so long and quickly made me understand what could be going on. Finally I left an appointment with some logical answers to my issues and some hope that I could feel better. After having a Xray which confirmed Michael’s diagnosis I am working through a set plan and am already benefiting from the results. My family are also noticing a massive difference which means everything and I couldn’t be happier. I have to add that all the staff at Chiropractic First are such nice people and thank them all for the help i’ve received.

Fantastic experience: I came here after suffering for years with on and off back pain, i had seen countless doctors who just prescribed me painkillers that didn’t work and been referred to physio more times than I can count... The pain was at its worst it had ever been and seeing a chiropractor was a last resort as I was getting nowhere with the doctors/physios. Within the first couple of sessions I was seeing benefits of less pain, more mobility and all round general well-being, I never thought I would make so much progress in such little time. Fantastic experience: In the three months that I have been coming to chiropractic first, the staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Dr Bates has designed a treatment plan based on my individual needs and has listened to any concerns that I have had and always been very professional. At the first consultation Dr Bates answered all our questions in a calm and reassuring manner. During the weekly adjustments I felt confident in Dr Bates. Ten treatments in and the experience is just as positive. The difference I felt from the beginning is growing week by week. I no longer have pain in my neck and back. The staff are absolutely amazing as well. They are super professional but also so friendly and make you feel at home.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Chiropractor at the end of July as I suffered from terrible lower back pain as well as in the rest of my body. This prevented me from doing any sort of workout as it was just too painful. I am a dancer in training and that started to become a major setback and I lost so much of the progress that I had made through at-home workouts. Now, after having gone 3 times a week since August, I have noticed a massive improvement and no longer suffer from as much pain. This meant that I was able to start working out a little bit before starting at University on a dance course at the end of September. It has shown in my dancing as I have become so much more fluid in my movements which makes it so much easier to dance. I recommend people to go here as they make sure to take an x-ray and get to the root of the problem so they aren't targeting the wrong parts of the body.

Fantastic experience: After struggling with my back for years, and going to multiple doctors without any answers, I started treatment here at chiropractic first and now I am well on my way to recovery. Going in to it I thought this would just be another dead end, but thanks to the amazing staff there I finally found a solution that works! Cannot recommend them enough! Everyone is super lovely and knowledgable!

Negative experience: I recently went to this clinic as I have a coffee shop and I had been bending low at the window for nearly 3 months while in lockdown. My back went one day with the stress of everything. I was in agony and needed a solution. I went for a consultation and they took an X-ray. Gave me no pain relief while I was there. I had to wait another week before they would see me again and look at my x-rays. I was told that my back problem was severe. Nearly a grade 4 as being the worst and my spine was in a really bad way. They tried to sign me up for a very expensive plan which was going to cost a minimum of £1,600 and I had to go 3 times a week for 3 months to try and get sorted. I went for a second opinion. They were very un-helpful when I asked to release my x-rays. Turns out my back is very healthy, it was just the stress I was under that had caused my back to ceize up. After 6 weeks and £250 I now have the all clear. All this company are doing is ripping people off. I never write bad reviews but I really feel the need to tell the world about this one. They should not be allowed to do this to people. I was vulnerable, just so glad I got a second opinion. Be careful and don't get ripped off.

He is very relaxed and provides a calming demeanor which is very helpful in getting myself into the right frame of mind for care. Money well spent for his time Finally Kat and Lara as the admin team have also been a great help in arranging all my appointments and keeping me informed of all aspects of ongoing care, they are always smiling and polite and its always a joy to see them, service money cant buy! The team in Leeds is fantastic and I recommend them to everyone! Dont short change yourself and check them out!

I went to see them via Vitality and they took the time to really get to the root cause of my injury and made sure their assumptions were backed up by proper x-rays before starting treatment. I'm now 4-5 months in and I've noticed a massive difference in terms of posture, back-pain and other things like sleep too. The changes were confirmed when they took new x-rays and showed me the difference in my spine after 3 months. Mike is incredibly knowledge and so passionate about what he does.
