I’ve visited many physios and often I’m just being shown movements from across the room. Sarah really takes her time to identify the cause of the issue. Fantastic experience: I've been a client at Sanos for 4 years now under the care of Elliott, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. When I first started, I was skeptical about how much help I could really get for my Spondylolisthesis. But just four months in, my daily pain had gone, and I finally felt like myself again. Elliott's depth of knowledge and the time he took to answer all my questions far exceeded my experience with consultants I had seen previously. Fantastic experience: Sano Physio was suggested to me by my health insurer, along with 3 others. After reviewing the relevant expertise of each I chose Sano in York. My first appointment was for an assessment to ascertain the best treatment plan for my needs. This was thoroughly carried out by Josephine, after which the treatment began. I was provided with an exercise programme, which came complete with diagrams to assist me in getting it right and this was very useful. On each of my scheduled visits I was greeted by a friendly and efficient Gail, who manages the reception and clinic administration. Throughout my treatment Josephine was very professional and effective in remediating my physio needs. My treatment was successful, but if I need any further treatment I would certainly go back to Sano York for it.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at the clinic hardly able to sit still due to the pain from a trapped nerve in my neck, exacerbated by a bad car crash 2 weeks ago . Graeme was very caring and listened to what I told him. During the treatment I had quite extreme reactions , which obviously released something . The following day I woke up in far less pain than I`d suffered during the few previous weeks thankfully , so whatever he found in my neck , had really helped. I`ve booked more treatments with him in the hopes that he can clear more of the remaining pain. Thank you Graeme , I wanted to give you a big hug !

Fantastic experience: Graeme has been utterly brilliant at sorting chronic issues with fascia and back problems for many years now. Sarah quickly cured me of a growing problem with neck tension related migraines that the GP kept prescribing strong medication for. Sarah fixed the underlying cause where the GPs just treated the symptoms. A good physio is worth their weight in gold and these guys are class acts.

Fantastic experience: Having had a car accident I received an injury to my neck and shoulder, the Insurance Company arranged for me to go to Sano Physiotherapy in York which has helped enormously. From my first visit where I met Elliott the Physiotherapist and having had subsequent visits my injuries have become less painful and movement in my neck is much better. Elliott has been excellent, from the first appointment where a plan going forward after assessment was made, and the actual therapy itself. I have felt informed and very comfortable with Elliott, such a nice man, very easy to talk to and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to Gail recommending Sano physio. Due to long NHS waits I needed advice and information to get me mobile again. Not used to having to limit walking or exercise it was so helpful to see Elliott to diagnose and then correctly manage my cartilage problem. He gave me confidence and reassurance that it can be managed. With the individual exercise programme I am now back to doing almost everything I wish too. Gail helped to sort out my initial appt with professionalism and understanding when trying to fit around other commitments. There is a calm and safe atmosphere in the clinic which helps to give you confidence you are in safe hands. Positive experience: Alina really helped me to recover after my car accident. Always checking her work on me was tolerable and explaining I may have more pain for a day or 2, and then it helped ease the pain I have had since my car accident. Thankyou very much Alina! Fantastic experience: Graham has been treating me monthly for a back/hip problem for nearly a year now. Every time I have a treatment I walk out feeling better. And gradually, with monthly treatments my problem is now massively better. He has a wealth of knowledge and advice on what you can do at home and the best exercises to help you improve. I can't recommend Graham enough.

Fantastic experience: Josephine was courteos, very professional and kind. I saw her last week and she made a huge difference to my pain levels going from 9/10 down to usually 3/10 over the week after her treatment. This week she worked the residual painful areas and the gave me advice re ice application and exercises. Josephine and Abi worked together to print out the exercises fir the next two weeks. Both Abi today and her reception college last week were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful.

Treatment to start following week . Exercises to do daily sent by e mail to start the healing process's but personally think I should have been shown exactly how do do these by the Therapist to ensure maximum benefit and technical accuracy!
