Fantastic experience: After 7 weekly treatments with very do -able excercises at home, the sore shoulder, rotator cuff, which I found painfull to pull up trousers and generally painful to dress, or use that arm to pull my seat belt accross , I am now 99% pain free and very happy. Will now reduce to 2 weeks treatments for a final result an discharge. Amy is a great Physio! Re 30th May 26, almost instant relief following cranial osteopathy to my tight sore neck muscles due to spasm. I continue to enjoy rhe benefit

Fantastic experience: I had a appointment with Callum and prior to going I was extremely nervous and reluctant due to the pain I was experiencing. Callum was fantastic bundles of knowledge and he made me feel at ease. By the end of my consultation i felt better mentally and physically and have clear plans moving forward. I strongly recommend anyone with back pain to get in touch with Callum.

Negative experience: It's a real shame that I had to seek another opinion to get further imaging done which confirmed my concerns. This seems to be all too common for fibromyalgia patients. The MRI findings were consistent with every single complaint I had, though as usual it seems my symptoms were treated as something 'normal' despite me begging the physiotherapist (Malathi) not to sweep things under the fibro rug. What I found to be the most difficult to swallow was the physio's rationale or excuse for the multiple failings I had mentioned as something that upset/frustrated me, once they were made aware of my MRI results (3 physiotherapists in total had now dismissed my concerns of structural/mechanical damage and my request for further investigation) they simply said, 'It's probably because of your age'. How can anyone not feel shame having listened to a 23 year old who has had fibro for years, time and time again repeat themselves that their symptoms are new, atypical and not related to their existing condition, describing them in detail, how their quality of life has decreased, and simply not give their patient even the benefit of the doubt, to investigate further.. In the past year of exhaustion and dismissal I have lost an incredible amount of time. Given the fact that it took nearly a decade to get my fibro diagnosis due to the same age-based stereotypes, hearing that was frankly insulting. The MRI revealed a protruding disc, bursitis, and gluteal tendinopathy (which given the length of time I have had this pain untreated, is likely permanent tendinosis now) which will take many months to address. Besides this, I do find strangely the physio's behaviour / overall mood seemed to be very different depending on my presentation, in the sense that it felt incredibly cold and distant when I was suffering, versus smiley and welcoming when I was managing to put the pain at the back of my mind and taking stronger pain medication which seems a bit backwards. It felt as though I'd earn the friendly side only when succeeding with my pain medication and presenting as well/healthy. No idea what the reason for this is.

Came in, assessed the problem, did a bit of hand's on treatment which was engaging and helped my understanding! Another excellent visit to the Harrison clinic with Nathan Cook this time. Nathan again was very thorough in his assessment and keen to compliment the work that Melina had done on me previously. After releasing the areas of concern with holding and pressure techniques he manipulated the stuck vertebrae quickly and efficiently. I left feeling light and free and very impressed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used the clinic a number of times for a recurring knee issue. The staff are friendly, super accommodating and undoubted specialists in their field. I’ve always felt that I was given absolute top drawer treatment and advice every time. The follows ups are exceptional and, in one case where I needed X-rays and MRI the communication between the clinic and my GP was amazing and helped me get the treatment I needed much quicker and efficiently. Excellent.

My lower back pain was awful, but after their treatment and Melina's advice, it's completely gone. I even had a hip op and was driving after a week of recovery at the Harrison Clinic! Fantastic experience: I saw Peter with an ongoing problem I had with my knee, painful when bending. Peter diagnosed the problem, devised some simple exercises, recommended an insole and my knee was cured.

Fantastic experience: I have had treatment with Callum at The Harrison Clinic for two different issues. Both times, he was incredibly thorough with investigating the painful area to discover the source of the issue. Callum then gave me a comprehensive explanation of what he thought the issue was, followed by treatment (physical manipulation of the area and acupuncture) along with some exercises to carry out at home to aid the treatment. Callum is professional and extremely knowledgeable, with a little hint of humour thrown in, that helps to distract and relax you during treatment. I would (and have) recommended The Harrison Clinic to anybody in need of pain relief.

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Callum for a few years now for maintence treatments due to old injuries. However I fractured my back 3 months ago and have been suffering a lot of pain since. My consultant had discussed nerve block injections if it didn't resolve. I saw Callum this week for the first time since my accident and had dry needling and I genuinely can't believe the immediate improvement. I've gone from having extremely tight glutes to finally being pain free when I sit down.
