Fantastic experience: Normally a brilliant service from Caroline, until today, to find the clinic in Hyde End Road closed & under refurbishment, no signs outside advising of this or a new address, poor communication to clients I received a call this morning, explaining the situation, now happy again with 21st century, with a new appointment booked for next week

Fantastic experience: My husband Adrian was seen by Kia and he was very happy with the care he was given for his back pain Kia explained what the problem was and treated him accordingly. He's hoping not to need to see Kia again but wouldn't hesitate if he did. Great care and very professional.

Fantastic experience: I've seen Kia twice now. Once was a next day booking because I'd hurt my neck which needed sorting before a long drive and just today for a follow-up and a general overhaul. The neck was given a good stern massage to pop out a few knots (I enjoy it!) and a few needles here and there. It was sore for a couple of days after which is expected but after about 4 days, totally back to normal. Today's visit was for a sore foot, check the neck, a couple of needles and a general chat! Needle's in the sole of the foot do hurt but did their jobs! My foot was buzzing almost as soon as Kia hit the right nerve or whatever it targets! I am going to have a regular maintainance session.

Fantastic experience: Took our 8 year old to see Jodie because of a stubborn verruca. She was really good with him, and patient as he was a bit scared. I have no doubt the problem will soon be gone.

Fantastic experience: Only collecting someone. Not having treatment. But top place.

Negative experience: I would advise anyone who has a very specific problem (in my case shoulder impingement/torn tendon) to consult a practioner who specialises in this area. I moved on to another practice and within only a week, I could see a drastic difference. Shame I wasted 5 weeks.

Fantastic experience: I've had one Chiro session and one deep tissue massage, both were excellent.

Fantastic experience: Respect Rachel's expertise in her skills. Chiropractic techniques as well as acupuncture. Have an ongoing issue with my neck and back. My lower back goes into spasm on a frequent basis and my neck is still restricted in movement. Initially caused by dapagliflozin, a diabetic med, back in 2016. Which caused extreme back spasms and resulted in excessive tension in my back. Having stopped taking the medication my back improved on its own, but I approached Rachel to help speed things up a bit. I now have longer periods of respite.

Fantastic experience: Visit with George the podiatrist to sort out my usual toes and their associated nails. So here is my review: Covid measures were all in place and made me feel that everything was being done to keep everyone safe. Excellent receptionist, very polite and efficient. George put me at my ease, was very Polite and extremely proficient at sorting me out. He explained everything ahead of time and was happy to answer all of my questions. I am extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend a visit.

Negative experience: A disaster. Went hoping to have some targeted physiotherapy to help to accelerate my recovery from an achilles problem and as an immediate consequence of the routine Emily Neale put me through ended up in A&E that afternoon. Since then, spent 2 months in a boot then underwent achilles reconstruction surgery followed by six weeks in plaster and now face a lengthy and slow multi-month recovery. Needless to say, I will not be using 21St Century during my rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: So far I have had two chiropractor appointments with Laura. Prior to seeing Laura I hadn’t seen a chiropractor before. Laura was so lovely and welcoming, totally made me feel as ease. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it, I found it so interesting. I went for shoulder issues and she has managed to help out with my foot as well. So happy with the experience! I would recommend Laura

Fantastic experience: Katy Adams has treated me for 6 years and I recommend her to everyone and anyone, even people I overhear that needs someone I tell them to go see her!! She always looks to treat the issue and not the symptoms that I have. Over the years she has treated me for a wide variety of things, dislocated coccyx, lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain, through my gall bladder surgery last year, pregnancy (pre and post recovery inc breastfeeding) and most recently tennis elbow. I can honestly say she has changed my life! I no longer put up with pain. My husband, mum and friends visit her and she has treated both my children after childbirth with tight neck muscles which helped our breastfeeding journey and specifically my daughter when she was starting to walk and was hobbling, it turned out she had tight muscles behind her knee which once adjusted she was running in two days!! I wouldn't hesitate to take them to her if they needed checking after a fall/accident she genuinely cares for us all and they love her too.

Fantastic experience: I've used the chiropractic (Rachel), podiatrist (George) and most recently sports massage (Samantha) service from 21st Century Clinic and they are all fantastic. All know what they are doing and help to address the underlying reasons why problems are occurring and solve for those rather than just temporarily fixing issues. I'd recommend anyone try 21st Century Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Rachel for chiropractic treatment over several years. Initially for lower back problems, which she sorted, and more recently for a problem with my left leg, which the GP could offer no explanation for. Rachel identified the problem and, after three treatments, again, the problem was sorted. I've had nothing but friendly treatment from the staff at the clinic ever since I started, which was shortly after the Clinic opened.

Negative experience: Exceptionally rude service from the beginning. Asked for a quote over the weekend, receptionist called me back and gave me a quick brief over the phone. I asked her to kindly send me an email with the details she'd just provided, as A) I was at work and B) I'd spoken to many other clinics so information emailed to me would make it easier to form a decision. Would have taken her two minutes. Instead, she gave me the worst attitude and kept repeating ''What do you want me to email you? You want me to email you that?" over and over again. Unnecessary, unprofessional and just low. Wouldn't consider your clinic even if it was as cheap as your attitude.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Rachel since she qualified and can highly recommend her. After suffering with back ache following my first pregnancy, Rachel was professional and offered ongoing support. 11 years later, I still book in when necessary. Rachel has also helped my father in law gain more movement in his neck following an accident he had when he was young. In fact, most of my family now visit for maintenance appointments to keep everything in check! I can not thank Rachel enough for all the times she has helped relieve aches and pains!

Negative experience: Went there for physio because of a low and upper back problem. After 4 sessions, I left with a worse back problem plus a serious neck problem that caused me severe sleeping problems. I had to see an orthopaedic doctor and stopped working for 4 months. I went to another physio which gave me far better exercises. Because of the neck problem I got, I still struggle with my sleep and everyday life, even a year later. Lack of experience is the least I can say. Would not recommend at all! There are much better clinics in Reading.

Fantastic experience: Katy is an Amazing Chiropractor who I have seen and had treatment with over the past 4 to 5 years which has enables me to have a a fit and active life pain and drug free which wasn't always the case and her Practice offer a fantastic Services one of which is a fabulous Sports Therapist Claire-Marie I would Highly recommend Abbey Chiropractic Clinic

Negative experience: Went to a see a Podiatrist here with Metatarsal issues. She didn't even check my feet. She just told me that I should go and see a doctor because she felt like anything she did wouldn't help. After I tried to get in touch with Rachel the owner and asked for a refund of my £40 but she just ignored my request. Inexperienced and unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Katy is treating me for early stage frozen shoulder. I was really impressed with the tangible results from the first session and am looking forward to the remaining sessions. Nice welcoming and down to earth staff. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Have been seeing Katy for a couple of years now and can't recommend her highly enough ( and confirmed by various friends I have recommended Katy to). Has been excellent in sorting out various squash injuries , usually finding an appointment time very quickly, and more recently been helping my rehab from a spinal operation. Also very impressed by Claire whose sports massages are the best I have ever had.

Positive experience: staff was very friendly and polite, i went beacause i had a pain in the ball of my foot which turned out to be three corns! which was treated there and then, i havent had any problems since.
