Motion Clinic

Negative experience: It was the sadest day in my life when i entered that clinic with a unknown neck pain but unfortunately I had a treatment for my right hip instead:(. Why you pulling my right leg is still not clear. After that treatment , next day i went to the shower and found out muscle spasms coming up from my lower back along my whole spine on a right side . I contacted the clinic and send them an email asking about it but Andy said it was everything he could do and I need to go to their gym for the private sessions. He never even explained why I developed those spasms after the treatment and what caused them!!! I asked for a refund but I was refused. After that treatment my life turned into a nightmare slowly killing me. Those spasms from the lower back started curving me to the right and twisted my body ruining my spine and joints, causing scoliosis, arthritis, pain all the time. I didn't understand what was ruining my spine and joints until Ive recently seen, 1.5 years after that visit to the Motion Clinic, a neurologist who thoroughly examined me and said that I have a twisted pelvis, a sacroiliac joint block, functional blocks of C2-C3, C5-7, T4-T6, L4-S1, and a functional shortage of one leg! This is all from the doctors diagnosis. As a result of all this , a pain in my neck, my upper and low back now. And this is all a twisted pelvis can do to you and even more as it ruins all your joints twisting your body in spiral as you know. Hope you've read a book 'Anatomic trains'by Tom Myers. Now a biomechanics of my body has slowly changed after that one visit making me living in pain all the time and further ruining my spine and joints. You still never answered why were your pulling my leg if I came to see you with a neck pain? Why did I end up having a twisted pelvis? Manual therapy is a very dangerous practice and can ruin your life as mine!! Think 10times before using it as you can lose your health , your life and money, everything as it happened sadly to me now . I dont kno how to live now as its ruining slowly my spine and joints irrevokably now. I don't expect anything from the Motion Clinic now as they only care for money not your life.

Fantastic experience: I've been getting Osteopath treatment for a dodgy shoulder/collarbone with Alicia for several months now. I honestly couldn't be happier with the treatment I have received. Alicia is super friendly and always puts me at ease and chats to me like a friend about things I like which as a person with anxiety this is very important to me. Fantastic experience: After years of tightness in shoulders, lower back and legs I visited Meg for a 90 minute sports massage after having tried many forms of treatment. My sleep has improved and I wake every morning feeling alert and refreshed, my flexibility has improved and the pain that had become the norm has disappeared. I cannot recommend Meg highly enough.

The adviser, who was recommended by my personal trainer, was very effective, and pleasant, and also suggested a couple of exercises to help. I booked a further session immediately, although there was no pressure to do this, which I liked. The booking system was smoothe, and the reception friendly.

I recently saw Billy for shockwave treatment and was impressed at how quickly things improved. I had issues with my back for over a year which lead me not being able to sit without pain or even walk. I had tried every stretch or exercise I could find online or YouTube I still had no success. I decided to give heavitree osteopath a call and was greeted by the wonderful receptionist who was very informative. I decided to take the plunge and book an appointment as all other methods i tried had failed. My osteopath Billy challis examined me and gave me his professional opinion on what was going on and my case was very severe. After the first session I was able to sit on a sofa for the first time in months. I've had a multiple sessions with Billy now and have improved week on week these sessions have been worth their weight in gold. Fantastic experience: I had never had any kind of therapy before but was starting to get more and more niggles leading up to an event (back, ankles, knees). After 3 sports massage sessions with Megan I was feeling stronger, the niggles had gone and body was performing better than prior to the therapy. My intention was to have 3 sessions and stop but I’m now going to make it part of my overall training and keep it going. Fantastic experience: Repeat customer. I'm in my 40's and susceptible to back issues due to my job. This is my go-to-place when issues arise. An initial fairly serious issue was treated by the NHS using a series of pain killers (Codeine, Oramorph) which did not work. Two sessions here and the symptoms were going! The practice is very friendly and welcoming with plenty of parking behind in the Coop car park (£1 charge refunded from the cost). Andrew is a fantastic Osteopath. He explains every issue for me in layman's terms and outlines the treatment before commencing. I would highly recommend.
