Fantastic experience: I saw Rachael Ingram for toenail reconstruction and I was very impressed with her professional and calm approach. My big toenail had not grown back properly after getting damaged and falling off and she was able to reconstruct it. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: I went to see John after suffering with migraines and I’m so glad I did. Since having treatment, my migraines have reduced both in how often I get them and how intense they are. John really seems to understand the body and I felt like he genuinely understood what was going on with me. He’s very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and I always felt comfortable with him. I’ve noticed a real difference and would definitely recommend his osteopathy with acupuncture approach to anyone struggling with similar issues.

Lisa has supported me with acupuncture all through my pregnancy journey and early motherhood. Incredibly caring and works her magic so that I look forward to feeling like a new woman after each visit! I had a wonderful pregnancy massage from Lydia. I visit Jon for osteopathy when needed and I’m always impressed by his knowledge and ability to help me resolve any injury / pains quickly. I feel very fortunate to have them on my doorstep.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Rachel, podiatrist at Estuary Clinic, since I moved to Devon 9 years ago and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She is always kind, polite, professional, punctual and respectful. Anything is never too much trouble for her and she is a first class podiatrist as well! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her.

Fantastic experience: Sports Massage - Graham is excellent, knowledge and a great guy. I searched and tried numerous places to find a decent sports massage, having found Estuary Clinic the search is over!! I see Graham on a monthly basis either for specific issues to target or a more general back/legs to loosen me up.

Negative experience: Unfortunately a bad experience. The google maps pictures need to be updated as this sent me to the incorrect building. There is no indication that they have moved premises. The young out of office receptionist tried to help me to the new premises with no joy and said she would phone ahead to my practitioner who might be able to help me. The practitioner did not contact me. This resulted in me eventually finding the premises late. I was then told by the practitioner on arrival that I could not be seen as I was late (10min) , I had booked an hour appointment. She was not very caring or understanding and sent me away with an email address of another podiatrist. My injured foot was not even looked at. Although she did apologise for the poor Google information and her unacceptable behaviour I went away really upset and disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Life changing. John is the first of many osteopaths, I’ve seen over the years, to solve my neck and headaches.

Fantastic experience: They have a pleasant staff and a highly qualified osteopath. John is a excellent professional who is devoted to his work. Not only may it help with back pain, but it can also help with other conditions. I would trust him more than a general practitioner because practitioners under duress, are prone to overlooking details and hence are unable to provide good care to their patients.

Fantastic experience: Well organised, appointment process, good hand wash and sanitiser gel. Temp check on entry for your appointment other than the therapist did not see anyone else there. Always a pleasure.

Fantastic experience: I have always found the welcome at the Estuary warm, and gentle whatever the purpose of my attendance there. The ambience for yoga classes is the same and, the Instructors: Lisa and Laurie are the best in my opinion. They care for us students,observing us all, and challenging us too, aware of our individual ability.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my sessions on a Thursday afternoon with Izzy who is very thorough, helpful, and patient. She always greets us with a smile,helps us individually within the group and is honest (!) enough to warn us about 'nasty' and difficult moves.. after which she always encourages us. Our equipment is good and easily available. The only 'snag' I can think of is that Izzy is so good it may increase the class size to the point of having to split us into two! The 5 stars are well deserved Thank you Izzy!

Only once before in my life have I met someone who identified and cured my problem areas during the first session. Now this has happened to me for a second time at the Estuary Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I felt Sue was really knowledgeable and had confidence she had correctly diagnosed what was wrong. I left with exercises to do and a good understanding of my injury and it was a relief to at last know what I had done and how to go about fixing it. She was professional throughout and I would thoroughly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: Lisa is such a great yoga teacher. She is calm and supportive whilst giving clear explanations. I thoroughly enjoy my yoga sessions on a Tuesday and the time flies by too quickly.

Fantastic experience: I use the clinic every week for a special Pilates class with Donna - some of us, there are only as many as 8 in the class, have problems with shoulders, backs or legs so it is very carefully thought out and conducted to increase our core strength and the joint support muscles. It is very good for us all and we love the relaxing wind down as well! I receive treatment for lower back problems from John, the osteopath, on a regular basis which have helped me immensely, especially when my back locks- and he has managed to make it possible to walk out without pain. I can recommend his treatment wholeheartedly. I had a brief session with the Chiropodist and received good advice about a possible in-growing toenail and a very pleasant heel smoothing and a reduced rate as there was nothing that needed fixing at this time! I am very glad the Clinic is there and grateful it is able to offer both classes and treatments - I would like to try Tai Chi one day too!

Fantastic experience: After many years of seeing all manner of practitioners, including a number of chiropractors and osteopaths, for a long- standing problem, John has been the first person to get to the root cause and is optimistic that he will be able to treat it successfully. Treatment so far (two sessions) has already made a massive difference with significant improvement; and I am full of hope that the future looks bright! The estuary clinic is a fantastic place, with a wide range of practitioners and a lovely atmosphere and everyone I have come across has been so friendly. I have also had a very positive experience of acupuncture with Lisa and beginners yoga with Emma. Both really lovely people who have put me at ease immediately and both also very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend the Estuary clinic!

Small pilates classes, run by Ruth, mean that indidvidual progress is monitored in a professional and reassuring way. Each pilates session is different, and ends with a relaxation exercise that sets you up perfectly for the week ahead ! Bliss! Would highly recommend it!

I explained I had a pre-existing back/leg condition and he took the time to do a very thorough consultation to discuss my medical history. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained what he thought maybe causing my pain. He used a mixture of acupuncture and osteopathy to ease my back pain, at all times explaining what he was doing and why. I had 4 treatments about 4 months ago and the pain hasn't returned! Fantastic experience: I have received both acupuncture and herbal treatment for many years from the practitioners at Estuary Clinic and I cannot recommend them enough. I have long term health issues which made it difficult to conceive and stay pregnant but, after courses of acupuncture and herbs, I went on to have healthy children. This would not have been possible without the treatment, advice and support received from Lisa, Isobel and John. I continue to have regular treatments to support my health and well being in my busy life. Fantastic experience: After suffering for a number of weeks with upper back and shoulder pain I visited the clinic for treatment. John was highly professional and knowledgable and spent time discussing the possible causes of the pain through understanding my day-to-day routines. John very quickly established that poor posture was most likely causing muscular problems and the resulting massage and manipulation of the area has, within a week, hugley improved my shoulder and no longer affects my day to day activities. As well as the treatment given directly by John, the overall service included him teaching me a number of streches and exercises to practice at home which has helped my shoulder heal and strengthen as well as improve my awareness of my own posture. I am aware that the clinic offer a large range of treatments for a large range of health issues and I would highly recommend anyone with any muscular aches and pains to visit them – no doubt the cause of the problem will be quickly identified and the treatment greatly effective.

As a professional sportsman, I would highly recommend it for athletes of all levels who are suffering from acute and chronic injuries.

Fantastic experience: The Yoga studio at the Estuary Clinic is such a gorgeous space to be in! Gillie's early morning yoga classes have been a great tonic and a wonderful start to the day on a Tuesdays and Thursdays. Gillie is a wonderful teacher, both patient and dynamic, and her classes are a great balance of challenge and chill! I also regularly attend classes taught by Lisa Roberts - an amazing yoga teacher who has really helped me to gain strength and confidence in my body; I get so much out of her sessions I miss it if I can't make a class. I attend the weekend workshops whenever I can. I can't recommend the studio and its teachers highly enough - they have made such a big difference to my well-being.

Fantastic experience: I visited Estuary Clinic after it was recommended by a number of people. I had some on-going complaints - knee, shoulder, neck etc, which I should have had seen to, but I found myself going with an acute pain in my lower back and having to go.. I saw John and he carried out a very thorough assessment and history. I had a first treatment and since been back for another. I am confident that with maybe only one or two more visits he would have sorted the problem and leave me with a series of exercises to manage and avoid any reoccurring injuries. Already I am very grateful for his knowledge and gentle approach to my problem but do believe John may have not only sorted the acute pain I went in with but covered some ongoing problems, which I have lived with but only realised how bad they were, now they are nearly not there. I only wish I had been to see him sooner.

Fantastic experience: I was feeling low on energy and inexblicably fatigued when one of my students recommended Izzy Ravden. I am pretty good at looking after myself nutritionally and exercise-wise, so it was really just a case f being run down. I followed a course of herbal tinctures, and I also had a session of myo-fascial release, which was mind-blowing. I went into a deep sleep when I got home and woke up feeling like a different person. Every time I'm not feeling like I"m not firing on all four cylinders, I don't need the pharmacy, I just go and see Izzy.

Fantastic experience: I am a recreational runner, and suffer the usual lower body aches and pains. Ruth's knowledge, expertise and professionalism was outstanding in treating my hip, IT band and core muscle group issues. She began with an in-depth interview to determine background, history and specific areas of concern. Her examinations, relief treatment and suggested recovery exercises were spot on, and allowed me to return to form with an improved commitment. Fantastic experience: For starters, a welcoming and cheerful experience at reception - helpful and clear. This has continued each time I have had occasion to 'phone or attend an appointment. I've been seeing John (Osteopathy) for several weeks now. When I first went I had to use a stick to walk a short distance, had unremitting pain in hip and thigh muscles and a stiff aching back - yes I have some age-related osteoarthritus, but this was beyond a joke. I can honestly say that John's treatment has made a huge difference - today when I stood up after being manipulated, my body felt free to move about in a way I thought I'd forgotten. Helpful, hope-giving - and worth every penny. Thank you!
