Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share with the world that I turned to Shannai at the Longmoor Lane clinic about 14 months ago. I'd been badly affected by my lower spine being seized up for about 6 years before I sought help. So bad I'd been to A&E with extreme pain twice in the couple of months before and an MRI done. I had GPs and a consultant neurosurgeon belittle me when I talked about the extreme back pain I had, and that was the first time in my life I'd ever asked for pain relief or a pain solution from a doctor in my life. It was my stepdad that talked me into osteopathy because they'd worked miracles with his back and shoulder. Bad backs are responsible for millions of lost man hours every year It's a crime osteopaths aren't available on the NHS but they aren't. But for a few hundred pound, or a bit more or less but only a bit ,Shannai will show you what and where the issue is and how you can fix it.. He taught me the very specific exercises I can do every day to keep that very specific part of my spine from ceasing up. That's why I'm here to say this fella is top drawer. He doesn't keep people feeling like they need him every week of their lives. He treats and fixes and teaches He fixed me first time around. And the reason he earned an osteopathy degree is because of his own back pain challenges as a youngster. So Shannai @ long lane osteopathy is The person to send all your loved ones and yourself to if you have bad back pain of any kind. Life is short and precious and no day should be wasted because of unnecessary pain. I know a few hundred quid might be unaffordable for some, but even if it means saving up a fiver a week , or asking for contributions on your birthday or doing a sponsored baked bean filled 3 legged sack full race. If you're crippled by back pain then try and see an osteopath because it's amazing how quickly and permanently they can fix you.

Fantastic experience: We visited this clinic approximately 4 weeks ago and again today for baby cranial osteopathy treatment. We was greeted by lovely staff member at the reception who in both occasions has made us feel welcome. I breastfeed and first visit she was so accommodating and showed me to an empty room and offered me some water. I can’t remember her name but she was so helpful and welcoming and greets you with a lovely smile. We met with Shanay who is the cranial osteopathy therapist who was so thorough, intuitive and reassuring. We felt like we had known him years, he was so welcoming, professional but also like a good friend understanding our concerns, worries and putting our minds at ease. We had good news and our little one just favours one side more. We seen massive is massive improvement from the first visit and as he is progressing with his milestones we wanted to visit again to help release any tension. Vincent was nothing but smiley and content (until the end as he was more than likely bored) Shanay was so caring and nurturing with Vincent, I guess he sensed the good aura around him. We cannot fault our visit’s on both occasions and will definitely be back and can highly recommend. Good vibes throughout. Mel, Dan & V

Fantastic experience: After years of recurring pain and discomfort in my shoulder and spine I had a consultation with THE legend, Shanay. I was quickly made to feel relaxed and my concerns were listened to intently. The treatment that followed has been life-changing, along with tips and advice for stretches and targeted exercises. On top of all that, he’s a thoroughly lovely bloke with a great vibe - feels like catching up with a friend with each appointment. My only regret is that I wish I’d have started my osteo journey earlier!

Fantastic experience: I love to come here when my body is feeling weary and in need of a good release! My practioner is very attentive and straight to the point. She goes through everything and gets to the bottom of any ache or niggle using her skills. I always walk out of here feeling like I have a new body!

Negative experience: Rang up to book a colonic and they don’t do them any more. Also wanted a Hopi ear candle which they also don’t do any more. A cash only clinic in 2023...... Also find it odd, that when someone posts a negative review about this place, that loads of positive ones follow.....

Negative experience: What a clinic! Can never get through on the phone. When you do get through you are told they no longer do certain treatments as they are in a “transitioning period”?! You can say that again as the staff turnover is very high which is very telling. The recent price increase is also ridiculous considering the place looks like it hasn’t had any money spent on it for many years. I’ll take my custom elsewhere. Thank you for your response. I did get through in the end, but the receptionist was anything but happy to help. (I see you have another review about your rude receptionist which was left 3 months ago) As the staff turnover, you never speak to the same receptionist twice, and the clinic told me you have had 2 therapists leave in the past month. So the appointment I wanted was not able to be booked. I don’t need to look at google photos, as I’ve been in the clinic and saw it first hand and your prices do not reflect this. As well as your reception staff needing training, I would suggest you take a course yourself in grammar and spelling.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming since December last after I slipped a disc in my back. I was the worst pain I have ever experienced. I came to see Mr Shanay it was the best thing I have done he give two sessions that week as it was the week before Christmas which helped greatly and I was booked back in for when they opened up after the New Year I need four more weekly sessions. And now I have coming once a month. I can’t thank him enough for all he has done for me.

Positive experience: I have been to see Phil twice with shoulder pain. The first time was good I was asked to make another appointment for two weeks later they had no appointments fully booked waited 3 weeks for next appointment. Went to that one again first class service, asked to book another appointment for 2 weeks again fully booked . My next appointment is in a months time, Today o phoned as in pain and hoping to see Phil was told he was fully booked for next few weeks . Cancelled my appointment will look to find another osteopath, Disappointed with capacity of the clinic,

Fantastic experience: Just a quick 1 to say Louise is the one who to go to for colonics. Everything brilliant with her Won’t find anyone who does colonics the way she does. I’ve been to a few clinics and had 1 previously in this clinic by another woman but it wasn’t a patch on the way Louise done it. no one has made me feel the way she did. Will not be going to anyone else other than louise for them.

I found her extremely friendly & attentive. Then she treated me & gave me some exercises to do at home. I have felt some relief & look forward to my next appointment.

I would highly recommend her for anyone struggling with back or shoulder pain! The one thing that let's this place down is that there is a working card machine in reception but not everyone can use it. It's cash only for most people, I dont carry cash so I find this annoying that in this day and age I can't just swipe and go!

Fantastic experience: Booked in with Mr Shanay yesterday after having no sleep for over a week with hip and knee pain. This guy is so knowledgeable and friendly. After talking through my symptoms he explained what was happening and why. He then went on to give me one of the best most thorough treatments I have ever had at an osteopaths. Needless to say after having the best pain free sleep in weeks, I would highly recommend this practice and Mr Shanay. The front of house staff were also very accommodating and friendly Thank you all. Fantastic experience: After being sent to a physio, more than once, by my gp for supposed posture issues I decided to try an osteopath as I was convinced it was not muscular. Immediately Shanay diagnosed facet joint issues which tied in with my symptoms and ongoing battle with degenerative osteoarthritis. I was so relieved to hear that finally someone understood my symptoms. After the first sessions my pain reduced dramatically enabling me to start an exercise programme to improve my mobility. After the second session I am thinking that I have finally got hope of a better quality of life. Can’t thank him or praise him highly enough. If in pain make an appointment, what have you got to lose?

Matthew has helped me tremendously even as I continue to go. My problem will never be fixed as it is spinal issues but it has never been better since coming here and I have noticed a major difference in my back. Wish I went sooner.
