I know that my family have been greatly assisted by a number of the healthcare professionals at this practice I had need of the service there recently and found out for myself how good the service was Having been injured at work and suffered a range of injuries including spine, hips and knees, it is difficult sometimes to find someone that has the compassion and skill to assist complex matters I know Happily Gethin was up to the job. Fantastic experience: Gethin has been brilliant. I was in agony with hip pain (GTPS) and within a few weeks my hips were better than ever. I recently also switched from an NHS physio to Gethin for a MCL injury and in just 2 weeks feel like Im making better progress already. The app used by the medical makes it easy to remember what exercises to do and how to do them correctly. The admin side of The Medical is also very efficient. Appointments are easy to book and you receive text reminders. With the NHS I could never get through on the phone and the text reminders would sometimes fail. I highly recommend The Medical.

When I first came to the physiotherapy session, I was struggling with the knees pain Which affecting my daily life. Through the Physiotherapist (Gethin Lavery) expertise, guidance and encourage over the eight sessions, I experienced significant improvement. His tailored exercise and hands-on approach made a real difference. And now I feel much stronger and more confident in my movement. I will gladly recommend to anyone in need of physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: After various other treatments for BPPV this chiropractors absolutely smashed it. Fantastic service from Chloe who has helped so much with residual symptoms of ear, neck and jaw pain. I would recommend this practice. You get a friendly welcome as soon as you enter and very professional assessment and treatment.

Positive experience: I attended an assessment at The Medical Newport on the recommendation from my daughter. After having a number of issues with my neck, back and knee I booked an appointment with the chiropractor Dominic. Even after the first appointment I noticed a considerable difference and it was suggested to me to follow a plan over a number of weeks. With every appointment I noticed improvement and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Been going to The Medical, Newport since April 2024 for Chiropractic appointments. Years of niggles in my shoulders and neck that massages elsewhere just weren’t working finally got me to book in for an assessment. After that I had regular treatments with Dom and I wouldn’t look back, it has helped sooo much. I will recommend to anyone who will listen to me.

Fantastic experience: Great support from Fiach, quickly diagnosed a nerve issue affecting my arm and hand, and set out a treatment plan during 1st appt. Communication has been great and I am glad to say that I am nearly back to full fitness thanks to Fiach’s treatments. Highly recommended and would def return for any future Physio needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been using the Medical (formerly as Ridgeway Chiropractic) for several years and have had nothing but good experiences from the chiropractors who have treated me over the period. I am currently being treated by Chloe Sutton who is helping me with sports related hip and knee issues and who treats my joints with care and professionalism. Thankfully we are making good progress. One thing I like about the approach of Chloe and her predecessors is that they ask questions to find out what has led up to the injury and about me as a person which gives them a better perspective for treatment. I would recommend The Medical as a professional, capable and caring environment for treatment. Also a shout out for the front desk team who are always helpful and friendly. Their systems keep you alerted as your next appointment approaches which is useful.

Everyone is super kind and I would definitely recommend their services as someone recommended them to me! Every time I walk in I always arrive complaining and I walk out like new! Fantastic experience: So lucky to get an appointment today, after hurting my back on the weekend. A friend recommended Ridgeway clinic. Rang up and spoke to a lovely receptionist who was very understanding and managed to secure an appointment. I was very nervous so only had the assessment today. I saw Dr Jamie who immediately put me at ease, asked me how I injured my back, my symptoms, existing health issues and let me know what to expect and talked me through what he would do before he did it. He diagnosed what was wrong, showed me images so I understood, assured me it wasn’t a permanent or serious injury. He showed me some exercises, and taped my back. Now I feel more at ease (I avoid going to the G.P unless I have to) I’d definitely make another appointment. Very professional, understanding, didn’t feel rushed at all, thorough examination but nothing made me feel uncomfortable and although I was expecting some pain there was none. There was also no pressure to sign up to long treatment plans, I am going to wait a day and then book in for a treatment session in the hope for a speedier recovery. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ridgeway Chiropractic Clinic. Really nice facilities, friendly staff and it's in a convenient location not far from the motorway. I have seen Anthony for some physiotherapy sessions covering a number of injuries, including a long-standing chronic Achilles problem. Anthony was consistently very professional and knowledgeable and provided a variety of treatments and exercises which have proved very successful, even for my stubborn Achilles. He also provided links to videos showing the different treatment exercises and a treatment programme which were both very useful as it meant I didn’t have to try and remember everything from each session. Fantastic experience: I first went to Ridgeway Chiropractic clinic around 2-3 years ago with a few minor injuries and trouble spots that I picked up whilst training in the gym over the years. Since the first session with David I haven’t looked back. I go every 2-3 weeks to keep myself feeling good and keep my strength up for training as well as to get rid of any aches and pains that come along. I’ve sent a lot of people with various different issues here and not one person has had anything other than positive comments and results after they left. I strongly recommend going in they provide a few different forms of treatment depending what issues you have and you feel like a new person when you leave. I strongly recommend using this clinic for any issues you may have with your body as I’m positive they can help you!

They’ve never failed to resolve any problems I’ve had with my back and have managed to live pain free for the majority of that time. Gregg takes time to explain my issues in language I can relate to and gives me advice around how to manage it - a good ice pack works wonders!! I have one at hand at all times!! When I do need to see them as a result of a flare up they always do their best to see me straight away working around my availability wherever they can. The staff are very knowledgeable, professional yet really friendly - I love having a chat and a catch up on my visits! I can’t speak highly enough and have no qualms recommending them. In fact I have recommended Ridgeway Chiropractors to many friends and colleagues who have always had their problems treated successfully. Fantastic experience: As an active Netball player I have been receiving treatment from Gregg for several years. It has quite often surprised me at the source of the niggle and I absolutely attribute the work that Gregg carries out to the fact that I am able to continue playing a sport that I adore, go skiing and hiking. Through my recommendations I know that fellow players, work colleagues, friends and family have all been treated and continue to go back. The practice has a lovely welcoming family appeal and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to them for an initial consultation.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally leave re-back, but I feel it is appropriate to leave a review on my treatment at Ridgeway Chiropractic Clinic. I attended because I have been suffering with a trapped Sciatic nerve. The pain has been horrendous for over 3 years. I had an operation, had injections in my spine. Nothing worked. I relied on Painkillers and Pain Patches. I thought I would give this a try as a last resort. I had my first treatment 29th July. My Chriopractor Gregg Pugh was honest from the start and explained everything to me after getting my last MRI results and asking me all about how I was feeling. I felt at ease and was once again hoping that I could get some relief. I have had 7 visits the last one was today 18th October. Things are definitely getting better, I'm no longer in constant pain. I have now cut down on my Painkillers, which for me is a bonus. I also feel better in myself. I'm now down to 1 visit a month. With the hope of reducing my pain medication even further. I would have no problem recommending the practice to friends and family. Thanks Gregg. Paul Medcraft.

Fantastic experience: If there were ten stars instead of the maximum of five to rate the treatment from Gregg, he would definitely receive the ten from me! Gregg has been treating me for about nine years, since he first qualified and was working at a clinic local to me in Cardiff. I chose to travel to receive treatment from him at his own practice in Newport rather than be treated by another chiropractor nearer home. I cannot recommend him and his clinic highly enough - my mother and several of my friends/neighbours/work colleagues also now receive treatment there. Visiting the clinic is always a thoroughly positive experience: friendly and welcoming reception staff then expert treatment and advice from Gregg.

Fantastic experience: I attended for tennis elbow, caused by screwing a wardrobe together about 2 years ago. It was painful for about 3 months until I saw Greg and with the first treatment of acupuncture, the pain went and following further treatment has remained painfree since. Can't recommend this enough. Great friendly service.

Negative experience: Pointless. After many months and £900 I am no better than the day I walked in. I don't like the way they work, I think it's pointless in making you go 3 times a week for 5 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Have pretty serious back problem involving s1 lower back discs trapping and giving acute sciatica pain. Walked in on 2 sticks slowly. After alot of amazing work I was almost walking normally within 2-3 months... until i overdid it. Amazing professional but friendly and welcoming service and help. Miracle workers.
