Fantastic experience: After 14 years of agony in my left knee and using a crutch for past 5 years I came to DR King on the recommendation of my daughter who had been in agony with her back for years. When she told me she left there doing star jumps I thought she was exaggerating. Well let me tell you… after my first visit I left there swinging my crutch like CHARLIE CHAPLING instead of using it! That’s the truth. I went shopping and stayed out till everywhere was closed walking with no crutch. I thought nah this is too good to be true… next morning I woke up with no stiffness or pain for the first time in 14 years! It’s been 6 weeks and I’ve not used my crutch once! I’m not completely out of the woods yet as I need a MRI because I have a mechanical block but I have no pain and the swelling is gone. I do go for regular sessions but that’s my choice. Fantastic experience: I had severe Achilles tendon pain that affected my daily life, causing discomfort multiple times a month. After visiting several places, I was advised to get an ultrasound-guided injection, a procedure that sounded invasive and intimidating. I was also warned that shockwave therapy would be painful and ineffective. However, I found King Chiropractic Cathays, where Deelan truly listened to my concerns. He reassured me that shockwave therapy would be the best option. Although I was initially scared, Deelan's approach put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I had a strained neck after an injury in the gym and after a quick google search I found Kings Chiropractic Cardiff. It was super easy to book an appointment on the website as well as the prices and what sort of session I would need being laid out perfectly. After one session I was feeling 10 times better and I could actually move about! The staff were phenomenal with helping me book another session as well as Deelan being a god send, he talked me though all the exercises we were going to be doing and making sure I was comfortable with it. Cannot recommend Kings enough!!!

He has helped me with several issues. His sessions are effective and he always summarises his work with you at the end ensuring understanding. Not only this but if a treatment plan is needed, he gives you access to a portal with videos of easy-to-do exercise's and he regularly checks up on his patients wellbeing via his social media page. After my readjustment, I was given an exercise programme to follow which has been great to break up my day of sitting at a desk. Fantastic experience: I visited owen with a background of shin splints which I have been managing myself for years however, I recently increased my mileage and was in significant pain. The first appt with owen was an hour and it was a very reasonable price. Owen listened to all of my problems and concerns, and really went above and beyond to try to reduce the pain and inflammation in my shins. Owen took the time to also go through multiple exercises with me to help strengthen my ankles. He also provided me with advice to manage my pain and really showed care and empathy throughout the consultation/appt. I then shortly after developed an issue with my lower back which resulted in me being unable to weight bear or train properly for 2 weeks - I got to the point I was taking pain killers regularly to manage and was 100% convinced I had a stress fracture from over training. Again, Owen took the time to listen to my problem and allowed me to have a 1 hour appt for a reasonable price again. He went through a lot of tests and identified where the issue was, and again, did everything he could within the hour to help my pain. The pain resolved within 48 hours of seeing Owen which was unbelievable. I have not had any lower back pain since. I now will see Owen regularly to manage any niggles that come up in training to stay on top of things. He is an excellent chiropractor and I would 100% recommend him to anyone who has any sort of pain or wants to optimise their training.

Deelan is always so helpful, not like other chiropractors who try to pull you into a package. Deelan dose not upsell like most chiropractors . Fantastic experience: I had referred pain from my back that had been bothering me for over 2 months so decided to visit King Chiropractic. I had a consultation followed by 4 sessions of treatment and I’m pleased to say that I’m feeling miles better. Deelan is knowledgeable and really helpful. Fantastic experience: I went to visit deelan after having unbearable lower back pain and sciatic symptoms, straight from the off you could see the professionalism of the company and members of staff who were all very kind and approachable, Deelan assessed my situation and investigated my spine and lower back and then talked me through exactly what I was experiencing and even used a model spine to show me where the problem area was. You could tell straight away that he has a very good knowledge of the human body and really knew what he was doing which made me feel comfortable and relaxed knowing I was going to be treated very professionally, 2 weeks and 3 sessions later I am no longer experiencing any problems with my back and if anything feel more free and mobile. Fantastic experience: Been going here every week for the past month to deal with neck pain and general back issues. The chiro has been absolutely fantastic, very helpful, fantastic rapport with his patients and most of all is very effective at dealing with your pain and providing great treatment. Absolutely would recommend going to him!

Fantastic experience: I decided to give D’s chiropractor a whirl after experiencing excruciating lower back pain like someone had taken an axe to it. I was in constant pain whether I was resting or walking about. I could also feel my neck crunching when I was lying down, trying to go to sleep. I’ve tried a couple of Chiropractors within the area after seeing them on a voucher website. I was not fussed by the sessions or their pushy selling techniques. In the one chiropractor I was given a list of 10 appointments with dates and times after my very first appointment. WWOOOWW – Slow down!! These appointments lasted between 7-12 minutes and I would leave there feeling empty and mugged off. D's Chiropractor may be slightly more expensive than other practices within the area but trust me it’s 100% worth it. I first met D and he asked me what was wrong and I started telling him what issues I was having whilst he input them into his computer. I was straight with D – I said listen, I’m a big boy. You can’t hurt me, so just go for it – If you have not felt the adjustment then try it again. D asked me to do a few stretches and felt for stiffness or restrictions in my movements. D must have done around 15-20 adjustments and every one produced a crunch or a click meaning that he was working magic. I left the practice feeling like I was walking on the moon without any pain or twinges. I was actually buzzing with excitement that I’d found my go to Chiropractor. I’ve just had my second adjustment and every thing feels perfect and I feel the best that I have in a long time. The sessions last 20 minutes and do not feel rushed. There was no pressure on me to book further appointments with D, as I said to him I will be definitely be needing his services further down the line as I do office based work. He said, no dramas – Just book a session or two if you ever feel the need for a little MOT. If you have any niggly little problems and you’re in two minds whether to book a chiropractor, book in a couple sessions with D and he’ll sort them out right away!! – Trust me. Oh and to boot, he’s a top guy!!

After my doctor told me that I should see a chiropractor, I was still a bit doubtful. I had watched a few videos on youtube before booking my appointment and, the way they managed everyone’s back and all those sounds, made me sceptical and scared. I had an initial consultation where Deelan explained to me what the problem was and then I received the treatment on the following four weeks (going 2 days a week). I am now doing some exercises on my own that Deelan has given me to strengthen those muscles and make me less dependent on these chiropractic sessions. I was previously sceptical of chiropractors as even though I suffer with scoliosis, I didn't think the investment was worth it as my condition wasn't what I considered 'well-known' due to the lack of content available. Deelan allowed me to understand my issue in greater detail and has prescribed bespoke exercises/training to aid me in improving my strength and posture. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Deelan enough. I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain. I've been seeing Deelan for around 6 months and it's really helped to reduce my pain. Part of this is likely due to a large difference in the height of my hips, which he corrected. Previously my left leg would give way resulting in falls, but it feels as strong as the other leg now and I'm more stable. In addition to spinal manipulation, Deelan has used acupuncture and deep tissue massage to help the adjustments stay. He's also given me some exercises to do at home and access to a physio app to support this. I initially saw Deelan twice a week, but now I'm up to once every 3-5 weeks. I feel like he is trying to enable self management as much as possible.

Fantastic experience: Suffered from daily lower back pain for 10+ years thinking that was how it would be for the rest of my life, had previously tried physio with no luck and attempted to improve my core strength but never got anywhere. I finally organised some chiropractic treatment with Deelan after watching a few videos online and doing research into local chiropractors and it seemed like something that would benefit me, or at minimum be worth a go. From the very first session (5-6 weeks ago) I noticed an immediate difference for the better, I felt instantly like a weight had been relieved from my lower back and areas felt free and loose where they hadn't for a long long time. Deelan is a absolutely brilliant and is a great guy too, he takes great consideration and care into your inidivudal needs and tailors the treatment specifically to you. I am still attending sessions (fewer and farther between each time), and Deelan will email from time to time checking how things are. He has also built an exercise program through a handy phone app specifically for me which is also helping tremendously between sessions. For anyone that doesn't think its for them or they think they are too gone past recovery, I strongly recommend a visit. Hopefully you will be as surprised and pleased with the results as I am.
