Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend Shannon at Osteo & Physio Crediton highly enough. She has become such an important part of my long rehabilitation journey following major spinal surgery, when I needed specialist aftercare and support to help me rebuild my strength, confidence and trust in my body. Shannon has worked with me on my calves, back, surgery site and feet, always adapting treatments to where I am in my recovery and how I’m feeling. She has helped me manage the aches and pains that come with such a long recovery, given me stretches to help between sessions and suggested techniques to gradually desensitise the hypersensitivity in my foot. She has also helped me hugely with my confidence. Using Nordic poles initially made me feel very self-conscious, but Shannon has encouraged and supported me to use them without worrying about what other people think. That might sound like a small thing, but for me it has made a really big difference. What I love most is that Shannon understands that recovery after surgery isn’t always straightforward or predictable. She has been there throughout the ups and downs, always patient, kind and encouraging, and has never made me feel like I should be further along than I am. I’m incredibly grateful to have Shannon alongside me on this journey. Her hands-on treatment, advice, encouragement and understanding have made such a difference both physically and mentally. If you’re recovering from surgery or dealing with a complex rehabilitation journey and need someone who genuinely takes the time to understand you and your individual needs, I couldn’t recommend Shannon highly enough.

Fantastic experience: James Warner was absolutely brilliant. Listened carefully to all my symptoms and completed a thorough assessment before prescribing a physio plan that helped me achieve my goal of cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats. An exercise I didn't get on so well with was changed to something that worked better for me, and his regular checks meant that the difficulty of the exercises was increased as needed so I made constant improvements. I could not be happier with the outcome and would definitely return in the future if needed.

Fantastic experience: I had a free consultation initially and was directed to Michal Atwill as the person most able to help me with my posture issues. After talking through my concerns Michal showed me how to do a set of exercises with great patience. He manipulated the area and kept checking in to see that it was comfortable. He explained what was going on with my posture and is giving me the exercise to do at home before my next visit. I found the session to be very worthwhile and highly recommend it. Excellent!

Fantastic experience: Osteo & physio - Crediton I attended for a massage as I was having an acute lower back pain that suddenly started the day prior to my visit. I was seen by a practitioner called Evie Hudson. I had a very useful therapy session in a relaxing environment. The pain I had has since subsided. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Sabrina Atwill over in Crediton Clinic for Osteopathy treatment on my shoulder and on going other issues with my back and hip. Sabrina is so lovely, honest and informative but most of all got my shoulder/collar bone back to more normality. Still have some ongoing strengthening and stretching exercises due to a tear in the shoulder that I’m doing all put in place by her. Received hands on treatment, massage and acupuncture and some manipulation to get things back where they needed. She also helped ease my tension headaches that I was getting several times a week to now maybe once or twice a month. So so grateful! Feeling so much better all round!! A lot less stiff and so many less aches and pains. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I saw Lily this morning at Osteo and Physio, Crediton and feel beyond amazing! I never sleep well, hence being half asleep at my 8am appointment, however, Lily was very compassionate, kind and caring and her treatment made me feel instantly lighter. I look forward to my next lymphatic massage with Lily, this is exactly what I needed and being able to see a difference in just one hour, made my week! I had to cancel my next appointment yesterday, due to it conflicting with another prior appointment elsewhere, however, came home, spoke to the other clinic and managed to rebook both appointments. He has given me the reassurance I needed and offered expert guidance on how I can continue to heal and strengthen at home. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Osteo and Physio Crediton. For many years now, my body has not been right, I have suffered from CFS, Thyroid Cancer and now Menopause and some arthritis in some of my joints. I am 90% recovered, but my body really feels like it has taken a battering! my joints, hurt, my toes, back and my neck to name but a few, so with little to no help from my GP I thought I would try and find an alternative and found this place. After a free consultation, I was directed to the brilliant Martin Keogh their Specialist MSK who is also a specialist in Rheumatology (another thing I am being tested for). My first visit was so informative, I was in awe of his wealth of knowledge and felt that finally someone was listening to me and understood me and wanted to find ways to help me. I have had 4 visits with him and my body is actually starting to feel good again, hardly any pain if any most days. My second to last visit he gave me acupuncture in my left hip flexor as it was very tight and I was experiencing sharp pains and it was effecting my lower back and being a self employed carer, this was becoming increasing difficult to cope with, and OMG it was amazing! after 2 days of the treatment, I had no pain at all and the tightness in my hip had disappeared!! I am so happy that I discovered Martin and I certainly know where to go when my body starts playing up again! xx

Having suffered with a recurring rib issue over many years, I was keen to finally get to the root of the problem. Martin was able to explain exactly what was going on in a clear and reassuring way, and delivered an effective treatment that has already made a real difference. What stood out most was his professionalism, knowledge, and ability to make me feel at ease throughout. He took the time to listen, assess things properly, and tailor the treatment to what I actually needed rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I left feeling much more comfortable, with a far better understanding of the issue itself and confidence that I am in very good hands. Fantastic experience: I saw Sabrina when I had knee bursitis; my leg and ankle were swollen and I could barely walk. She was wonderful – she explained exactly what was happening and what would help ease the swelling and pressure, then provided treatment that relieved the pain on the day. She also advised me on follow-up care I could do at home. I had a few sessions with her and I’m glad to say I can now walk without limping. The pain and swelling have reduced, and I’m sure her treatment and home-care advice have greatly shortened my recovery time. I cannot recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: Crediton Osteo and Physio was recommended to me when I asked for recommendations to help with my hip/groin pain, which had been persistent but this time for some reason was significantly worse and causing a lot of discomfort! (Yes I left it to long to be seen) My initial assessment was with Michal Atwill for Osteopathy treatment and I cannot believe the difference one session has made! From the moment I walked in he made me feel very welcome and at ease, he was very professional, listened and investigated thoroughly all aspects of the cause! Identifying the cause and ruling out other major concerns he treated the area required to which helped incredibly!! I went from not being able to put a sock on that morning to being able to, and not being able to lift my leg from the other leg when laying on my side to being able to after just this session alone!! He has also followed up my initial assessment with a full descriptive report via email, along with a full exercise plan to carry out until my next appointment! I went into that session hardly being able to weight bare on one particular leg and came out being able to almost walk freely again which enabled me to go to my works Christmas party BOWLING. (I scored 161 and beat everyone) ha! Cannot recommend Michal enough, I am honestly so impressed from every aspect!! Thank you again Michal!! ☺️

Fantastic experience: I love skateboarding. But I hurt myself doing it because I'm not that young anymore. I thought my skating days were over and I was gutted. But Sabrina fixed my leg in a jiffy! I went from hobbling and whinceing to strolling around normally almost instantly! I was skating again in a few days - albeit taking plenty of time to warm up and doing some strengthening exercises. Fantastic experience: Osteo and Physio Crediton. Had an initial free assessment as to what treatment I needed for severe back pain. I was referred to the practitioner, Lily Campbell, for deep muscle massage. After the first treatment, the deep-seated pain was lifted and I was able to manage it myself with gentle exercises, as advised by Lily. I would definitely recommend this practice to at least investigate whether they can do anything, or anything different, for you, if unsuccessful at other practices. It certainly worked for me.

The first day I saw him he said if he couldn't fix it in 4 treatments, then it needed to be looked at. Low and behold, everything was absolutely fine after my 3rd treatment. Fantastic experience: Following a rather inconvenient and extremely painful ‘backcident’ when I was travelling in the US, Michal was able to immediately identify the problem and not only put me back on the path to recovery, but give me exercises that meant that the problem was less likely to happen again. He is very considerate of the fact that I am a rather worried patient because of my hyper mobility, and talks me through every movement before it takes place. His kindness and reassurance that I WOULD get back to feeling normal again were deeply appreciated at a time when I felt like I was physically falling apart!
