Fantastic experience: After suffering a calcaneus (heel bone) fracture, I was incredibly scared to put weight on my foot and stand again. Thanks to her calm, patient and reassuring approach, she helped me overcome my fears and get back on my feet and walking again. She has gone above and beyond every step of the way, always showing such kindness, understanding and encouragement. She never rushed me, gave me the confidence I needed, and made me feel completely safe. I was terrified at times, but I trusted her completely, and that trust made all the difference. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better physiotherapist. Her dedication, patience and willingness to go the extra mile have meant so much to me, and I will always be grateful for everything she has done to help me get back to walking. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing physiotherapy. An absolute credit to her profession and a truly wonderful person!

Fantastic experience: I was suffering with GTPS and After many months of pain and appointments with different doctors. One Steriod injection and to no avail I was still in pain. Not being able to run. Sleep on my hip and just general exercise and standing was painful. Then I met cath!! And her amazing shock wave therapy machine. Wow what a difference!! I’m not moaning about my hips anymore!! Cath is so knowledgeable and I knew after the first session she was going to fix my body. Can’t recommend them enough. I am a physio and when my husband had an injury Cath and Julia were recommended by one of my colleagues. He saw Cath and I was so impressed with her care of him that, when I injured myself, Cath was who I went to. I had injured quite a few parts of my body and Cath has worked with me on all of them. Her thorough assessment and reasoning skills have led to me not only making a complete recovery but experiencing myself as moving better than before. In addition to her clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills, Cath is an excellent communicator. She explains her findings in a conversational way and what I need to do to recover very clearly. She reinforces any exercises by emailing a document that describes them the same day. I have already referred someone in Cath’s direction, someone who isn’t an physio, and they have told me they too have been very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Cath is an excellent physio. She follows a logical diagnostic technique and explains everything clearly and accessibly. I was really impressed with her communication technique and thanks to her treatment plan, I've had a huge improvement in my plantar fasciitis. Fantastic experience: Following spinal decompression surgery I contacted Catherine when it was time for physiotherapy. I first went to see her when I had to deal with a broken shoulder and my husband had previously had treatment from her. She is amazing and very knowledgeable and has seen me through my latest back surgery and was always so positive to give me the confidence to progress from wheelchair to two sticks and to one stick but only outside , purely for that extra sense of security in case I tripped! Fantastic experience: Excellent service! I have had various problems with both my back (sciatica) and knees (osteoarthritis). The exercises and guidance I received from Catherine have been so helpful! My systems and pain have reduced significantly in a short space of time and I am beyond grateful! After having my consultations, I also received a follow up email with my exercise plan and links to YouTube. Catherine is my ‘go-to’ for any physio work I need doing. I cannot thank her enough! Fantastic experience: On my wife’s recommendation, I came to you having strained my back using a hedge cutter at high level. It was very painful. However, in the short wait for an appointment you recommended ‘Knee Roll’ exercises which I tried to do very regularly. At the first appointment, you untied the Gaudian Knot and released the immediate pain, albeit that I felt as if I had been beaten up afterwards! A series of five simple exercises set by you have been my watchword ever since and continue to be so. My second visit was a confirmation that your expertise had both removed the pain and made me far more supple. So, thank you for your very professional work. I will certainly recommend that anyone known to me, with a problem like me, should make contact with you asap and submit to your expertise

Fantastic experience: I was so pleased with being referred to Advance Physio, after a kayak training session and race left me with severe nerve damage in my neck and acute pain down my left arm. Cath thoroughly assessed me, confirmed what the underlying cause was and developed a specific action plan to address it. This included careful treatments and progress reviews with her, liaising with my GP to ensure I was on appropriate nerve specific medication, arranging for a MRI scan to confirm the nature and extent of the issue, and accelerating me being seen my a consultant neurosurgeon. As well as being very professional, Cath is very personable and supportive. After my last review Cath designed and provided me with a specific rehabilitation program to follow that, in time, will help me return to being on the water.

Fantastic experience: It was by chance I found Cath at Advanced Physiotherapy! I wanted to explore Shock Therapy for an Achilles issue and googled it and Cath came up locally offering this specialised treatment. Worth every penny. I’ve gone from pain up through the heal to enjoying my walks around Henley in Arden pain free within 4 weeks!

Fantastic experience: Having pulled a muscle a few weeks ago, I turned to Advance Physio for help, as I had previously with back problems and other issues. My quadricep muscle was very painful and both restricting and worrying as it made it difficult to walk and use stairs. Fantastic experience: I could not be happier with the treatment and advice my partner has been given by Cathy. Whilst on holiday he injured his back (exercising) and getting him home was a challenge. Fantastic experience: After finishing the short period of physiotherapy provided by the NHS following my whole knee replacement, I was strongly advised by a doctor friend to continue with professional physiotherapy for at least another two months in order to achieve the best possible recovery. On the recommendation of a friend (and a note in the local Parish magazine!) I contacted Advance Physiotherapy where Cath immediately took me under her wing with an early appointment to fully assess my condition and level of functionality. Throughout the following three months, Cath helped me to progressively improve the use of my knee and the strength of my leg to the point where it was almost back to normal and I then simply needed to continue with the exercise regime she had established for me. Cath was extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring and genuinely interested in my progress throughout my time with Advance Physiotherepay and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to AdvancePhysio for several years now (with a variety of different problems - back, neck, shoulder) and have had treatment from both Cath and Julia. Fantastic experience: I had several acupuncture sessions with Cath at advanced physio to treat my sciatica, which had been an ongoing problem for me for a year or so. Fantastic experience: Julia is nothing short of a healer! I’ve torn my calf muscle twice now - three years apart - and both times Julia has gotten me back on my feet. Literally! Even if it has meant wearing some interesting shoes! I imagine I’m a fairly challenging client, as my desire to get back to ‘normal’ is sometimes detrimental to my recovery, but Julia knows how to work with me on that and I really respect her advice and conviction. Fantastic experience: I attended Advance Physio after my cast was removed from a fractured wrist and thumb bone.
