Fantastic experience: I saw Dan today with multiple problems, the main one being with my foot and now I can stand on it and it feels normal! I can honestly say I feel like a different person, I highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic experience: Dan has treated both myself and my teenage son this year and has been able to get us both into the position that we can start our sports again. Dan provides great advice for continued self care and has been able to keep me mobile after a long period of inactivity and some surgery. Fantastic experience: i’ve had ongoing headaches since the age of 15 ( i’m now 18) and was unable to create a full circle with my arm for as long as i could remember, not only that but i was struggling with a constant urge to click my neck and fingers… after being recommended to Dan from active care things only took a turn to the very best! After only 2 sessions my arm was able to freely rotate without getting blocked, not only was the urges of wrongly clicking my bones gone by a significant about but now i know why it was wrong and what i can do better! The headaches have also eased away! Overall i can’t thank Dan enough, he’s been amazing. his work is truly outstanding and his communication skills are too, making me feel very comfortable and welcome! i do not doubt myself at all that any person in pain reading this will not find comfort after seeing Dan.

Fantastic experience: We took our 3 month old to see Dan after having many issues. Honestly cannot recommend him enough. Not only is he great with our daughter and has helped her so much. Fantastic experience: I came across activecare when looking on the pelvic partnership website after being diagnosed with spd early in my pregnancy, and after months of no improvement with the physio I had to give up supermarket shopping because the pain was too much for me. I booked with Dan as a last resort and it is the best thing I ever did and wish I had done it sooner. In the first visit he listened, understood what I was saying, he was so gentle you wouldn't think you had received any adjustments. The icing on the cake for me was the pain was significantly reduced, I had hip movement back and he was able to identify and treat a long standing shoulder issue, that other practitioners had not been able to resolve. I had to take my 4 year old with me and he was great with her. He is doing his calling in life, it was so natural to him and you can see the passion and love he has for his vocation with the patients health and wellbeing at the centre of it. I have been singing his praises to anyone who will listen because the few visits so far have improved my quality of mobility and life.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dan recently due to knee issues and he recommended doing a gait analysis. I was absolutely stunned when he predicted my running style from studying my trainers- we then pulled up some running videos and I was running exactly as he had predicted! Following this we went to the park and Dan taught me a new technique that I can use to avoid the heel striking that is causing me issues. His instruction was clear, fun, and easy to implement. I am an experienced ultra runner with very high milage and learned a lot during this session. It was extremely worthwhile and I highly recommend it.

I went to see Dan, after one visit the pain had gone, I had a follow up visit 2 weeks later, 2 days prior to doing the '3 peaks' challenge. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dan as a very comprehensive therapist. He was methodical in his work and working together we found the source of a shoulder issue in an unlikely place. I would have really struggled to find and correct the issue without him.

Fantastic experience: I finally went to see Dan (i have seen many osteos,so reluctant to start with someone new) and I wish I'd have gone sooner. Dan picked up on many things I hadn't mentioned, including things that I only knew because of scans. I initially went for help with my chronic migraines, and after my first session, I really noticed the difference. Dan also relieved some issues with my c-section scarring which I'd been ignoring. This alone made such a huge difference to how I felt in myself, i cant believe how energised i felt. This meant my 2nd treatment could really focus on my head, neck and shoulder. Wow what a difference. Dan is a breath of fresh air and it was a relief to not be fobbed off when desribing what felt wrong. I would happily recommend to anyone and Will be going back for more treatment to iron out other issues!

Fantastic experience: I had a problem with my shoulder that had been ongoing for a few months due to a strain when exercising. After some treatments with someone else it eased but kept coming back. My PT recommended Dan and after 2 treatments, my shoulder feels great. I was impressed as Dan looks at your whole body in a holistic way, not just the area that has the issue. Fantastic experience: I have just had a gait analysis session with Dan. It was a real eye opener for me. Dan was really patient and explained things very thoroughly. After the session I felt encouraged that I could improve my running even as I get older. I put what I had learnt into practice in a race soon after the session and I got a PB! Improving my breathing technique was a revelation and just lifting my knees more felt great. I would recommend Dan to anyone who wants to progress as a runner. I just had a training session with Dan in mote park. It was excellent. Lots to think about but it all makes sense. Dan then ran with me for the park run. He was very encouraging and I could already see the benefits of the earlier session. Dan is a great trainer!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dan enough and if it wasn’t for his magic my son and I wouldn’t be breastfeeding! My son was breech and born with a very tight jaw and neck making it impossible for him to correctly latch onto the breast. I therefore had to express which was exhausting on top of having a newborn! The poor positions I was sitting in repeatedly so the pumps didn’t leak, caused me so much pain which Dan fixed along with my sons restricting neck, head tension and jaw. Thanks to Dan we were able to successfully latch and exclusively breastfeed from 5 weeks old! I nearly gave up and it’s thanks to Dan we got here. I will now have a beautiful bonding journey with my very last baby.

My back was in agony between Christmas and New Year and at 3.20pm on Friday, 30th December, I called him in desperation. He was already at home preparing for New Year with his family, but hurried back to his practice to see me. Fantastic experience: First time having Osteopathic treatment, and I am thrilled with the instantaneous results. I attended primarily due to knee pain and the sensation of pressure in my abdomen / bladder post-surgery in 2018. Dan quickly recognised that the cause of my knee pain was due to a misaligned hip, due to repetitive movements at work. It was a relief to find that these issues could be treated non-invasively, and Dan put me totally at ease. After one appointment, I can feel more movement through my hips and the feeling of pressure in my abdomen has noticeably eased. I am excited to see the results with further treatment!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dan because I had pain in my knee, hip and ankle. I felt much better I left and have not experienced as much pain when walking. I have another appointment with him this Friday and look forward to being completely pain free.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dan. I use Dan as my go to person for all my running injuries. So far he has fixed my hamstring, calf and also treated me for Plantar Fasciitis, which has now gone. I also attended Dan’s running technique session which has helped me, along with other things, with a better breathing technique and the proper technique for running up and down hills.

He explained everything he was feeling and how he was engaging to guide the body away from tension. He squeezed me in last minute to help with my headaches.
