Fantastic experience: My wife had a fall in early February which fractured her hip.She spent 2 weeks in hospital and on her return home was unable to walk or climb the stairs. My daughter ( a nurse ) suggested we needed to employ the services of a private physiotherapist and made contact with Vis. So glad she did, he transformed my wife's mobility over a relatively short period of time and restored her confidence in movement. A really great practitioner and one my wife and I would be happy to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Having spend months in terrible pain and hardly able to walk I went to Vis using a stick. With a combination of manipulation, acupuncture and exercise after 5 sessions I feel like a changed man. I’m not in pain and using my stick far less. I am so grateful . Fantastic experience: I went to Vis after I read the wonderful & positive reviews left on his webpage by other patients. I can truly say I was not disappointed. I had a problem with my back, pirformis muscles & hamstrings. I could barely walk when I contacted him. I was in a lot of pain thus unable to do the exercises given to me by other physios.He suggested a course of 8 acupuncture treatments. I got relieved of some pain by following week and Vis introduced some simple exercises and increased them at my own pace. Pleased to say I was doing this without any analgesia. Now after 8 treatments I am a lot better with my walking. Still some way to go with the exercises. I would recommend anyone to go to Vis. He is very professional, a good listener & brilliant at his job.

Fantastic experience: Vis saw me a couple of weeks ago when I was in a bad way with my back (I suffer with an inflammatory disease and was unable to work due to acute back pain). He managed to fit me in last minute which was very much appreciated. He performed an acupuncture treatment on me and by the next day my back had responded very well and I was able to move around with ease again. I have had two follow up appointments since and my back is now back to normal. Vis has shown me some exercises that I’m to do to strengthen the area to protect against further episodes. He was kind - he listened, asked questions and explained everything very well. He has a calm and patient bedside manner. If I have any further issues I wouldn’t hesitate to return to him, and I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I was put in contact with Vis after requiring urgent treatment whilst staying with family in the area and he honestly could not have been more accommodating. He managed to fit both my assessment and subsequent treatment session in to the few days that I had available and was very understanding of my circumstances. At the appointment he was not only very professional and friendly but also extremely informative, managing to give me a lot of insight in to my issues (which are ongoing) and giving me advise on some ways to manage them in the future. My dad suffered a stroke which left him with severe mobility challenges, along with significant cognitive and behavioral difficulties. From the start, Vis has been calm, patient, and incredibly understanding of our situation. He has shown great patience with my dad, not only helping him directly with mobility and rehabilitation, but also guiding me on how best to manage his care and navigate NHS protocols. Thanks to his diligence, punctuality, and carefully planned exercises, my dad has made massive progress. When the doctors had told us that this was the “new him” and that he wouldn’t be able to do much beyond needing help to move in and out of bed, we felt quite hopeless. But with regular sessions—twice a week with Four Oak Physio alongside NHS physio—my dad’s improvement has been life-changing. He’s gone from being bedridden and housebound to being able to move around with a walker. He even said himself that the physio he receives from Vis is far better than what he’s had from the NHS. Yes, private physio is an investment, but the value it has brought to my dad’s quality of life is beyond worth it. His progress has exceeded expectations, and it has changed our lives as a family. Fantastic experience: I was struggling to find a good physio and then I came across Vis who was brilliant from the first telephone consultation. Vis was excellent at listening to my problem and understanding how I got my back injury that I had sustained in the gym. He was able to assess what best treatment options were available to me and offered a couple of sessions of acupuncture. I must say that he made me feel very relaxed and at ease- each session my back was getting better. He also gave me expert advice on what sort of stretches I should do and how long should avoid going back to the gym to allow my back to have the best chance of recovery. He really supported me in my recovery and I am grateful for his advice. Vis was good at listening to my concerns and adapted his approach to suit my needs. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a good physio.

Fantastic experience: I visited Vis for my chronic neck pain. I had visited NHS physio and tried different sources for relief, however nothing seemed to work. Vis helped me with his acupuncture techniques and knew exactly what he was doing. He also helped me with appropriate Physiotherapy exercises which gave me significant symptomatic relief. I truly recommend him as he is highly skilled and has fine knowledge in whatever he does.

Fantastic experience: I visited Vis at Four Oaks Physio after spending a number of months suffering with a very painful and restrictive frozen shoulder. Vis quickly diagnosed the root cause of the issue and set to work remedying the restriction with the use of acupuncture and manipulation. Together with regular exercises, I’m pleased to say that the problem has now almost fully resolved and I am able to go about my daily activities as normal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Four Oaks Physio - Vis’s ability to diagnose, explain and solve complex joint issues combined with his attentive and pleasant demeanour make for a reassuring and comfortable experience. Fantastic experience: I was in complete spasm with sacroiliac and severe back pain, and was seen on a Sunday as I was so uncomfortable. The treatment of manipulation and acupuncture was explained and exercises given, as I was able to do more, more exercises were given. I had never had acupuncture for my long term back issues, but I found that this treatment program worked well and would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Found Vis on google when my mum who suffers from dementia, living in a care home became almost bedbound. She was in tears every time she moved with the pain in her back/side. X-rays showed degeneration and doctors had given up on improving her situation. Having always been a lively active person she became depressed and expressed thoughts of not wanting to carry on. On her first appointment Vis examined her - explained that with her bones manipulation was not an option. He suggested acupuncture- having always been a cynic of alternative medicines I decided there was nothing to lose. Immediate results !!! 3 weeks later Vis told us there is nothing else he needs to do - she showed Vis yesterday how good her back was by jumping up and down in glee. She informed us that she was not going to retire after all (she believes she is a member of staff at the home) and decided that she needs to take Vis home with her! A huge thank you to an amazing man who gave my mum her life back and her family their mum/ grandmother back. She is now racing around the home organising everyone and loving her life. Fantastic experience: My partner had a course of acupuncture at home from Vis' to combat muscular back damage and pain. She initially yelped when Vis' firmly touched & indentified the area. When at a later appointment she was no longer caused pain by the same testing Vis' told her the point had been reached where it was her responsibility to exercise sensibly through normal activity and adopting strictly the correct posture outlined. Vis' explained the process clearly from the outset, including the physiology involved and the medication from my partner's GP. If anybody is nervous about trying acupuncture for the first time because of "all those needles", we can thoroughly recommend Vis', the practitioner we had, - and there is no "hard sell", he told us clearly that it doesn't suit everybody.

Fantastic experience: Vis is an excellent and very skilled physio. When I first visited Four Oaks physio I was in crippling pain . I was gently ushered into the physio room and in no time Vis had identified my problem and started working on it.He would explain each and every stage and always made sure I was comfortable. Fantastic experience: I visited Vis with a neurological issue cause by a botched surgery, I had been suffering for 2 years with chronic pain, our first session was spent mainly on understanding my issue followed by my first taste of acupuncture itself, at first, as warned by vis, my symptoms worsened and I worried that I had done the wrong thing. By the next morning my pain had significantly reduced and over the course of the next 5 sessions continued to do so. I am currently pain free ( I still have the disorder but it is I longer painful) I can walk for significant period with only a mild discomfort. Vis himself is extremely pleasant and makes you feel instantly at ease, he is clearly very knowledgeable and the procedures ( having the needles inserted) is virtually painless. Highly recommended.

I had suffered for a very long time with a knee problem, an initial short course sorted my knee out it was perfect, totally pain free. I returned 6 months later for a top up of accupuncture treatment, and again after a few treatments my knee was great again. Would highly recommend this service.
