Negative experience: I took out a groupon offer to find out more about the services, I wanted to especially know more about the medical massage as I currently just get the odd sports massage to help with scoliosis aches. The praticioner advised he didn't know about the massage and it was recommended I would require 2 chiropractor treatments for 6 weeks followed by 1 per week so it became clear I would need to book two lots of 10 which is £780. I was nearly tempted to book one lot of 10 first as I felt postitive after the first session but then I was put off as it was advised I would have to have 2 per week as the treatment would not work 1 per week when I wanted to understand why, and to ask the receptionist about the medical massage. She advised it is the same as a sports massage! However the website makes it sound like it is different. I was also put off as the treatment room is shared so I felt distracted as you can see someone else being treated the same time through an open bookcase, so if I were to invest in nearly £800 for treatment I would want a more relaxed environment!

Fantastic experience: Excellent from start to finish! Only had treatment with Stuart but I’m sure the other practitioners are just as good! A very well run down to earth family oriented feel to the business, very relaxed but extremely professional! Reception/Assistants very friendly attentive and caring whilst maintaining a good sense of humour! I had a 10 session which showed marvellous results! Only downside is that I forget to ask for the before and after pictures of my results!

The treatments I have had from Stuart have always resolved the issue. The staff are all very lovely and helpful. Many of my family see Stuart about 13 of them so far! Keep up the great service I'd be lost without you all, after being a patient for 7 yrs I know how great it is to keep getting checked regularly... And my mum, the NHS diagnosis was dire after 3 months of agonising knee pain, after xrays, antibiotics and a cortisone shot they wrote her off as old and having arthritis! Stuart found the problem, in her hip! she was all fixed after 6 treatments

Fantastic experience: I went to see Derby Family Chiropractic from April - July 2022 and had several weekly sessions with Matthew in Chellaston. I have Multiple Sclerosis and was in a lot of pain with my neck. The whole practice was exceedingly welcoming and very thorough, Matthew also had knowledge of MS which really put me at ease. The tests at the beginning and end of my treatment was great to see progress had been made. I came out of every appointment more relaxed and in less pain and a year after my treatment finished I’m pleased to say I’m still have no more pain in my neck. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Stuart is incredibly skilled (but don’t tell him). I first visited DFC over 12 years ago when he ‘fixed’ my back after I had my second child and I couldn’t wait for an NHS appointment. He has since treated me on a number of occasions for sporting injuries and bad posture from sitting too long and working. His advice is always sensible, injected with some humour, all delivered whilst treating the issue. The treatment itself is quick, direct and not uncomfortable at all. Infact, Stuart also sees my kids for check ups too, that’s how much I trust him. The team are friendly, welcoming and offer good advice. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I have spinal problems from time to time. Need help with manual therapy. I have already had 1-2 sessions with an interval of 1-2 years in other clinics. And that helped a lot. When I first called the Derby Family Chiropractic clinic and asked for an appointment, they told me to come back in 2 weeks. In the first session, they took a scan of the body position and asked for a very long time about a car accident that happened 10 years ago. Because they asked me when I first felt back problems. They asked what car I was in, how fast the second car hit me, and if the airbags worked. They also did a test for joint mobility and limb sensitivity. The first appointment ended, they offered to come back to me in another two weeks. At the second session, they showed me pictures of my body from the scanner and pointed out the incorrect position of the body. They told me that due to the displacement of the cervical region, my head began to weigh more than normal. And they also asked if something had changed after the first dose!? Then they went to the couch and with uncertain movements the girl began to try to manually align the joints, relieve pain, and correct the position of the body. To my surprise, she didn't succeed. Her attempt to help lasted about 4 minutes maximum, during which, I did not even feel a single click, and not a single moment of pain relief. Then I was offered to come again, but I refused, because from the very beginning it was clear that they were in no hurry to help. I would say that a real specialist would only need to look at the position of the body, identify the cause and eliminate the pain already in the first session. Next, a few more sessions to work with muscles and a course of therapeutic massage for the whole body. Prescribe swimming and yoga. None of my expectations came true. I would describe this visit as: a waste of time and money, useless questions, and no professional treatment. I do not recommend.

Negative experience: I purchased 3 sessions through Groupon and since then trying to contact for booking. Tried calling them on different days, different times and also sibmitted their online form too but no response. Really need my money back now.

I saw an offer on Groupon and thought why not. It was the best £30 I have ever spent in my life. Stuart explained in detail what was wrong and started to fix me. Positive experience: I would highly recommend these guys to treat you as they have made so much difference to my problem. I had countless sleepiness nights until I started my treatment, then I started pain-free sleeping, bliss! I'm just into my twelve week of treatment, so I haven't given a five star rating yet as I don't know how my problem will be once the treatment as ended. The staff are extremely friendly and chatty, they genuinely ask questions about your general well being which makes you feel very welcomed. They offer a text message and email service to remind you of your appointment and an online cancellation service, which is great. Obviously, the treatment is quite expensive, however they do offer different ways of paying, which can be pay as you go or a one off payment. Totally Covid safe, hand sanitizer is available on entry, temperature taken and you'll need to fill out a form before each appointment to make sure you are healthy enough to go in to the clinic. Superb!
