Fantastic experience: Following injuries sustained in a car accident a few months ago. My family and I visited Sano in Derby. Our Therapist was a gentleman named Faraz. He was very kind, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in all of our recovery processes. We visited several times for treatment, regularly on Sundays which was very convenient for us. I cannot fault the care we received throughout our consultations. I highly recommend Faraz at Sano, he is both caring & professional.

I've actually had hands on treatment too, which has really helped to alleviate some of the pain. Rohit has a challenge on his hands but I have every confidence in him. Positive experience: I wanted to share my experience with Sano physiotherapy clinic in Derby as a patient and also as a consultant AHP. My first 4-5 appointments were uneventful. No significant progress. I didn't feel like I was progressing and the exercises I was given were really easy! I also attended an appointment i was given to find the clinic shut! 5 months post injury, still unable to really do anything with my left shoulder in terms of strength. I was really fed up and couldn't see the road to recovery. I was then seen by Faraz after my second physio left the company. This guy is on another level in terms of communication, active listening and problem solving. Really detailed and thorough examination with a clear, easy to follow progressive plan which worked! How I wish I had seen him sooner. My 3 star review reflects my view of Sano Physiotherapy overall on my journey and the score has been boosted because of Faraz. It would have been a 1-2 otherwise. As for Faraz, 5 golden stars. Thank you for listening and making such a difference. You have an amazing career ahead of you if you maintain the high standards all AHP's should strive towards.

Negative experience: Having been for several sessions I've experienced no actual hands on so I've now left my paid for treatments due to slowly getting worse, you can find these simple exercises on line, so no benefits in going, total waste of time and money.

The treatment was adjusted as necessary for my recovery and exercises / advice given for selfcare. The clinic was always clean and warm and there is free parking available.

The staff seemed very unprofessional. paid £75 for that which I already knew.On phone they said we have peadtric physiotherapist but in prrson came to know they didn’t. on phone they said they will accept cash but on appointment came to know its only card payments over the phone. such a waste of time, money and effort.

Negative experience: I started physio here and all seemed positive. I was having electro therapy and ultrasound on my knee and was responding well. They now cannot be bothered to replace the broken leads on the electro therapy machine so I am unable to continue this treatment. So the treatment has halved but the money they are receiving for each session hasn’t halved. Very disappointing service

Negative experience: Paid for three visits over £100 but the value I received is not what I would normally expect. 1st visit - 30 minutes conversation about my past. No treatment or advice at this point. 2nd visit - 15 minutes conversation while sitting on the chair, was given advice to do one excersise which I knew about already but didn't do. 3rd visit - I felt that it is not necessary and I will no benefit from it, but I was unable to cancel as it was on Monday where you need to cancel 24 hours before visit, but it is impossible during the weekend. On 3rd visit I received no further advice or treatment. I have experience with many physiotherapy places, but think this place uses their position for insurance claims. Will not use again.

Positive experience: Miss Geetal Jethwa was extremely professional. Dealt with my issues with targeted treatment, then additionally asked about my general health and physical activity and suggested ways I could re-engage with physical pursuits without fear of injury. Very professional in her approach and invaluable advice. The adjustments and improvements are still apparent.

My physiotherapist, Stavroula, has been fantastic, after just three sessions I am feeling 100% better and am finally able to get back to normality. Negative experience: Poor English. Made no notes. Didn't ask medical history. Not professional. Bent my knee back fully and hard. Could walk before ok problem. Next day unable to walk. One week later, can't walk. Still massive swelling. Still having to work from my bed. Pain killers. Saw a professional physio today confirm you have damaged my knee badly. Do not go. Worst decision I've made for a long time. Truly Terrible. If you're reading this seriously, give up. You're seriously hurting people!! Will look in to making an official complaint against you.
